So we desire to stay at this hotel for a night, this hotel have a huge parking spot, clean room with a generous view from 5th floors (love the view). And the swimming pool is clean. I do recommend u to stay at this hotel, if u came to visit Kampong Thom province ;)

Glorious Hotel & Spa

The first 4-star standard hotel, GLORIOUS HOTEL & SPA, welcomes you in to discover the hidden history of the well-known tourist site in Kampong Thom, Sambor Prei Kuk temple. The charm of Kampong Thom is not only a major tourist town, but it is definitely a perfect place to visit and explore the real Cambodia without the crowds as the other cities. There are more than a few temples to see in the area including Angkorian temples such as Sambor Prei Kuk. The complex belongs to the Pre-Angkorian era of Chenla (late 6th to 9th centuries), and it was one of its ancient capitals known then as Ishanapura, which is only 20 kilometres from the town centre. Glorious Hotel & Spa is elegantly designed to be your home away from home as well as the ideal venue for both leisure and business travelers who expect superior hospitality, high class amenities, and friendly services from the experienced, well-trained and multilingual staff who will serve you from the heart.

It had great promised but failed to deliver

Reviewed By KTRutland

From the outside this looks like a great hotel and has so much promise. On entering the reception is spacious and a great carved wooden staircase. As we arrived at 3pm we felt it was fairly quiet so took advantage of the pool and had it to ourselves for another hour, before another couple turned up with their child and they were the only other guests we saw until breakfast the following morning. Having checked reviews we decided to eat out and ordered a tuk-tuk as town is just 3kms at night on a busy road. It cost $7 return more than it is worth, but you have little choice as no tuk-tuk wait outside on the off chance. The dooms themselves are fine, aircon worked ok, hot shower and bed firm and comfortable. The internet drops in and out of service fairly often which is annoying but workable. Breakfast is not good. The coffee is a sludge. The selection if food in the serving trays was all cold, as they do not fill them with hot water or light the flames to keep it warm. We opted for omelettes which was the only hot fresh food on offer. We told our guide/rep and would stay here again. Service is poor and is down to lack of training or direction from managers, as the staff seemed eager to please but didn't understand what was required to do so when not working had their heads in their phones. This hotel has great potential, but needs better management and leadership.

New stop for Mekong express

Mekong express changed its lunch stop location in Kampong Thom. I ordered second off the bus but I never received my food although everyone else did. Staff are very rude. Owners, train your staff not to run from barung paying customers - your staff did this repeatedly so i couldnt even check my order; for the trolls I am an expat and speak khmer.

Do not stay here

Reviewed By 547kristiet

This hotel appears nice on the outside but it is not. To start with the room was not very clean. One of the robes in the room had hair on it. Their restroom was not clean and the shower had dead bugs on the floor. There was also no hot water. We reserved the room the night before so there was ample time to have it cleaned and ready. The lights in the hallway were off so it was dark trying to get to the rooms. In the lobby there is a large banner advertising happy hour at the sky bar and restaurant. However that is not open so you cannot get dinner at the hotel. The Facebook page talks about asking for a discount and we did and were told “oh no discount, price already low”. We were also told the gym and pool close at 9 but at 8 we were told oh no it’s closed already. We stayed at this hotel because of the amenities but it is NOT WORTH THE PRICE. We had stayed at Arunas hotel in May and should have stayed there again.
