The Lime Restaurant is the Hotel Jen Malé Maldives- signature all-day dining restaurant located at the 1st floor, where diners can experience authentic local fare with a range of international flavors.
Thank you to Chef Anishuddin and the team at Lime at Hotel Jen. After two weeks out on the beautiful islands of the Maldives, it was great to start the day with one of your breakfasts before heading to the airport to fly home. The food was outstanding and such an incredible buffet to choose from. The Indian Pancakes were delicious! Highly recommended.

Hot and spicy food.
We had birthday treat party last night and it was good in terms of taste. But they take lot of time to serve and dont know how to arrange the delivery. the food taste was good. Nice location.
I've been eating twice in Akoya within a month and was both times very happy with their service and food. All food is very fresh, of great quality and prepared with skill and love for the job. It's presented beautifully and tastes fantastic. This is a place I will gladly return whenever I'm back in Male.
We visited Sand Coast Restaurant twice during our stay at Sheraton Full Moon Resort and Spa Maldives. Their food were good and tasty, and ambience is excellent, especially if you choose the table outside near the beach. I would suggest to try their Indian and Maldives food, which taste good and delicious. Services were efficient while pricing is considered high but seems normal in Maldivesâs resorts.

Set in one of the older style residential houses (i.e. within a walled compound), the Royal Garden is hardly conspicuous from the street, and one may pass by without noticing the activity inside. Inside, it is a sizable establishment with internal rooms that are air conditioned. Then there is a large porch and finally the courtyard, all simply but comfortably furnished. The popularity of this eatery, especially with the locals become very obvious during lunch when the whole place is buzzing with activity, from the external courtyard to the cooler inner rooms. This is probably partly due to the strategic setting. Situated on Medhuziyaarai Magu (street), Royal Garden is across from some important ministries, the defense force headquarters and quality hotels.Although listed here as an Indian restaurant, the menu is more extensive, taking in local Maldivian and Sri Lankan cuisines, and even a splattering of western dishes like pasta, sandwiches, grills and the like. The place is also known for serving the local delicacy Garudia, a spicy fish soup that is accompanied by rice. The Indian and Sri Lankan dishes are usually spicy hot so may not suit everyone. The quality of the food is good though. The fresh juices, prepared as ordered are also good value. The ambiance is lively, the establishment clean and the service attentive and reasonably quick. Moreover, the prices are very reasonable. Royal Garden is worth a visit if you are looking to partake in some local dishes in pleasant (and local) surrounds.

The City Garden restaurant is on the Harbour opposite jetty 5 & 6. Very convenient to wait till your boat arrives into the jetty. It has two floors, the ground floor and the first floor has an amazing view of the sea. The 10%service charge and 6% GST is inclusive in the menu pricing making it easy to know the final bill. We had arrived 3hrs prior to our boat transfer from another island and had to wait, so decided to sit at the restaurant. We asked for a cup of tea and they dint push us to buy any other items that was really nice of them. Finally before leaving we packed some food and took it along.

We picked the correct evening to visit this restaurant. The Indian buffet is only served on Thursday evenings. The spread includes a soup, breads and chicken tikka prepared tandoori style, curries, briyani and desserts.Quality of food is good so for 200 MVR (about USD16), it's good value for money. The restaurant also has a nice ambience and the wait staff provides good service. Glad we came!Dear Stephen,Wow!
