We arrived early in town to catch a ferry to Göteborg and this was the only place we found open. The guys were friendly and welcoming, but the breakfast lacked a fresh element and the coffee was not great. With so many delicious breads in Denmark, plain white was a bit disappointing. I hope you can expand into other breakfast items as it would have been nice to have more options
This café is situated at the campsite some few kilometres alongside the beach from Sæby. The food is okay, and you can order take-away

Didas/Italos is a comfortable, and cozy restaurant/cafe with a variety of original Italian taste, as well as steaks, burgers and chicken dishes.
Saw this walking around town & the outside sign caught my eye for choices & cost. Was lunch time & they were not to busy. Plenty of choices on menu. I tried the pizza good flavor, not much sauce. Was ready very quick. Would go back again.
This is a wonderful cafe and art gallery in the middle of Frederikshavn. The place started out at an art gallery almost 20 years ago. Very good art. three years ago the gallery had a cafe added. The gallery is managed by Jan Langhjem, which is a fascinating person with so much creativity. The cafe is managed by his daughter, she has been the dessert chef on the Danish national cooking team. Absolutely fantastic bake goods. We went here for lunch and had a selection of their Danish open-face sandwiches. This included rye bread with fish cakes, mayonnaise, and fresh salad. I also had the egg and shrimp variation. Both were very tasty. One of us had a draft beer and the other had a coke. The service was fast and knew a lot about the food selection and the art work. If you wander through central Frederikshavn this is a great place to take a rest and feed both your stomach and your brain.

We both ordered a salmon and avocado salad for lunch. You look at the menu, sit wherever you like but then return to the bar to place your order where you are given an electronic device which buzzes when your meals are ready for collection. In addition to the salads we ordered two bottles of carbonated water which were extortionately priced. When the meal arrived, it was very disappointing. It consisted mostly of lettuce and not much else. Everything was there but in very small amounts. This was a very expensive meal, which was disappointing to say the least and no service was provided at all to make up for the inadequacy of the food.

Gourmet Bistro is gourmet pizza, food and wine. The restaurant's values are built according to Italian traditions, based on the simple and rustic cuisine. We are in love with the Neapolitan pizza culture, focusing on crisp thin bottoms, topped with the be
Authentic food with the highest quality original Italian ingredients. Our server even moved his car and gave us his parking spot so we would avoid a ticket! Thatâs service! Kudos to him and the quality dishes served at this cozy little bistro! Well done gentlemen!

Hyggelig Café i Strandby, hvor friske råvarer og god service er det vigtigste. Vi har åbent fra marts til og med oktober.
Make no mistake this is a very simple place, situated in the harbour area. Looks like one of the numerous grills that have mushroomed all over the country, mainly serving hot dogs and fries. But the food was delicious, obviously home made from fresh products. Can recommend the fried fish fillet on a piece of rye bread, and the apple pie.

Our brief visit to Frederikshavn led us to 2takt for a coffee break. Good amount of coffee in the jug for 30 DKK and a generally pleasant interior. We sat outside on the benches. Both the cafe and brasserie appear to have good reviews and there wasnât anything untoward about our visit.

This cozy corner cafe has delicious sweets as well as a full line of coffee drinks (and maybe wine/alcohol- I had coffee and didnât notice). They serve salads, sandwiches and other food too. They have a piano and while they werenât playing music while we were there, Iâm assuming itâs there for a reason. The owners are super nice. There is a wide array of cookbooks there in multiple languages to browse through while enjoying your drink.
