The restaurant is very nice and has a good atmosphere. They have a nice variation of food, and they serve various specials on every weekday. Has a variation of meat from exotic animals.
Helst inden alt for lang tid. Tak.
Went there with in a company of 8. We had huge expectations having seen there succes in the competition North DK's best restaurant. We had the six course menu with wine menu and started with Deutz Rose champagne and snacks. Every course was a small piece of art, tastefull and accompanied by wines a class above wines normally served in a "normal" wine menu at gourmet restaurants. The waiter did an excellent job presenting all dishes and wines with enthusiasm and knowledge. I will return with my family and enjoy this kitchen again.Hello Thank you for your reply regarding your stay at Restaurant Uafhængig. The place was clearly above expectations. The owner is very nice and advises you on the menu. The food was excellent and well priced. Size of the plates is large. The place is clean and the atmosphere is very nice. Perhaps one thing that could make it better is if the owner would not be ready to make big conversations with his guestsThank you we hope you enjoy your vaccation

We sat outside looking over the harbour and had a great lunch at a reasonable price. It was very busy but the service was still friendly and prompt! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Had to go down a small lane, off a pedestrian mall to Bie's Bryghus. On the site of an old brewery found a great restaurant. Unique Danish food served on a tasting plank with 5 different local beers to taste. Hamburgers also looked good. Small but comprehensive menu. Everybody else in the restaurant was Danish which means it must be good. Besides indoor tables the court yard had a beer garden feel and would have been great on a sunny summers day.
