Since 1969, Stacy's has been serving homestyle country classics to the Junction City area. With only a few left, we are proud to still operate out of an original 1940s era Valentine diner! We serve a number of breakfast & lunch favorites such as biscuits & gravy, omelets, pancakes, chicken fried steak, the Hungry Man's breakfast, and more. Or if you're looking for something sweet, try our homemade cinnamon rolls and pie! Our family recipes have been bringing in regulars for 50 years, but our awesome and hardworking staff are what keep them coming back. They know the secret -- great food, great prices, and great service. Stacy's is tribute to the days of the past, as well as a promise for a good time and delicious homestyle cooking. Whether you're looking for a place to grab a quick bite, or somewhere to catch up with friends and family, stop by for some Good Home Cookin'!
Stacy's is definitely NOT gourmet cuisine; it's good down home food made and served by real people. We had breakfast there twice; both times is was excellent. They serve from 5:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. M-F, week-end times are a bit different. Our food arrived quickly, was hot and perfectly cooked (I like my scrambled eggs dry and they were!), the wait staff was attentive with more coffee and checking back to see if all was well. Prices are great too with a Senior Menu that has several choices. This is not a fancy place, they don't spend a ton of money redecorating the exterior but that's isn't what I want at a diner. Inside was clean as was restroom. Food was delicious.

Fortunately for Starbucks, most are consistently good!! Can't complain. Always full of people and a good menu whether you are there for great coffee, a little snack or a breakfast sandwich. You can always count on it, even if it is a bit "pre-prepared". Odd to get in to the parking lot at this location, near a round-about, so watch for the entrance! And enjoy!!

This is just an average burger joint located close to the interstate. Travelling across country we decided to get a quick bite here. The burgers were just OK. the onion rings were WAY undercooked and soggy. The custards were very sweet. About all I can say for Freddy's is "Been there, Done that".

New location of a small local chain.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Clean and spacious - would be easy for a small party of people to combine tables and have some fun. The salsa was just right, not too spicy but with a kick, not too thick and not too runny. Chips good, entrée good - everything!

Half Restaurant. Half Store. All Country
Close to hotels right off I 70. If you have ever eaten at a Cracker Barrel, you know they are consistent. I had the meatloaf with three sides and my wife had the reuben sandwich. Always good and the staff is efficient and helpful. Daily specials as well as the standards that are always available.

I went to Bella's for lunch with my son for his birthday. We ordered mushroom tortillini, calamari, and some chicken wings. Admittedly, the wings were not traditional Italian food but the looked good and tasted good, as well.
Overall the food was acceptable. One would have to travel quite a distance to find better Italian food.
Service was fast and friendly. The prices seemed inline with what was offered. The restaurant was clean, organized, and tastefully decorated.

This location is temporarily CLOSED while we take some time to perfect a NEW style of BBQ. Catering services will, however, continue to be available throughout the Flint Hills during this time! When we decided to open a BBQ joint years ago, we couldn’t decide which kind of ‘Q’ we loved the most… so we just decided to offer it all. Now, we’re working on a one-of-a-kind "Cox Bros. style BBQ" that will be unique to our region, but we feel like we can only do this effectively at one location first. So we’re starting in Manhattan, KS. Then we’ll bring it over to Junction City after it’s been perfected. We look forward to being back up and running in Junction City sooner or later.
Great place, great staff and GREAT pulled pork! The brisket is mighty fine, but the pulled pork with original sauce is what you want! Add some mac and jack (mac and cheese) and you will not have time to take pictures, just eat!

The outside is clean looking. Inside was messy. We were the only ones in at this late hour of 8pm. My wife had the oxtails with rice and cabbage. I had the jerked chicken with baked potato and cabbage. Both had great flavor. My wife got a bottle of ginger beer which she didn't like because it was spicy hot which is not normally in her ginger beer. Prices were average, $27 for all.

Well note everyone will like it, with the interior decorations Crown Royal whiskey bags, but just relax and enjoy -- through back to the good old bar days, local crowd, good food, steaks are fine, and inexpensive, not much of a wine list but is good, all you need. Nothing fancy which is what all of us need from time to time. Server was a hoot, fit right in!

Small unpretentiousness place. Ordered Bul gol gi, grilled marinated beef comes with 2 dishes of kimchi. Asked for additional kimchi, no problem, $1 per dish. I was asked if I wanted my order to go, I said I would eat there. So I was confused when my food came out in a Togo box. However I didn't question it.
Could not finish it. It was already in a Togo box! The nice Korean lady who was in Junction City for 42 years, asked if I wanted some additional kimchi in my Togo box, sure. She accommodated.
Great food. Nice people. Loved it
