Reviewed By gabykouchacjiWhile we were touring the Ardeche region, we discovered this cute Hotel Restaurant and decided to have lunch. It was pleasant with a very welcoming staff and an elaborate menu containing many dishes from the local region. One item that caught my eye was veloute de chataigne d’ardache (a creamy soup made with chestnuts) which was delightful. My friend Benoit ordered cotelettes d’agneau (lamb cutlets served with an eggplant ratatouille), and I had a beef sirloin accompanied by potatoes au gratin. Good job Le Cedre, and next time we will try your very appealing buffet.

Reviewed By 85walkerWe stayed here for a week whilst doing a family activity holiday with Exodus in the Ardeche. What a lovely place! The rooms were basic but very clean, and the bathrooms were very nice. The whole building was full of character and charisma and was kept spotlessly clean. The pool was great too. The staff were all so friendly, Bernard the owner was very personable and clearly enjoys his job and also his occasional entertaining of the guests with his musical talents! The food in the restaurant was amazing! We had frogs legs, snails, pizzas, duck and more and every meal was very tasty and filling! We also enjoyed a few banana splits!!! All in all this hotel is a great find and we would recommend it!

It is a paradise for children (and parents!) - Camp not flood consists of 45 cottages and Mobilhome all equipped with bathrooms, covered terrace and garden, 7 canvas bungalow (with terraces and garden) and 18 pitches. Bois Simonet campsite offers: - Its well-equipped chalets (with air conditioning, dishwasher and flat screen TV (depending on model) - Its shaded minimum of 83 m2, toilet block with BB space, washing machine and dryer - The 2 heated pools - Its services: Snack bar, restaurant, pizza, ice cream ... and entertainment for all the family.

An amazing spot with a warm welcome

Jean-Louis welcomed our family of four to his beautiful home, that has been renovated to a really high standard. You can see the care and attention to detail that has been put into making this a really unique and special place to stay. We stayed in the family room and so I got to sleep in a wine barrel- that was a first! The far reaching views from this place are incredible.. we got to enjoy them over our lovely breakfast and at the pool. The pool.. what can I say about this?! Our teenage daughters LOVED it (as did we!) and probably took about a hundred pics in it as it was so ‘instagram worthy’!!!! Not only do you have the incredible views but the pool area itself is really luxurious, with top quality loungers etc. It was the perfect place to spend a very hot day. If you are looking for a unique and tranquil place to stay in the Ardeche region, then look no further than a stay with Jean-Louis at Le pressoir.

Close to the Ardeche Gorges and close to Pont d'Arc Cave (Grotte Chauvet) in Joyeuse, in South Ardèche, come and relax in our room and Breakfast "In the hollow of Chambon". It is 250 meters from the restaurants of the old town. Room very comfortable with parking, air-conditioned, private entrance and patio. Wired Internet and free Wifi. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and separate toilet. Linen, pool towels, complimentary toiletries and a kettle for coffee, tea or herbal tea and a refrigerated minibar are available.

Reviewed By EMVBHWe stayed only two nights but wished it could have been several more. The host and hostess were very friendly and helpful. The room was delightful: spacious, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, had a comfortable bed and the best shower I have ever experienced. The room has its own furnished terrace. Breakfast was plentiful. My favourite part of the day was sitting on the terrace by the pool to watch the sky change colour as the sun set, and to listen to the frogs and birds. This place is perfection. Note: the best way to find the place is to rely on old-fashioned map skills rather than just the gps.
