My wife and I drove out to Joliette specifically to eat at Bing Soupe, and was it ever worth the drive. The highlight of our meal was without a doubt the assiette mixte (the mixed plate) which we shared before our main courses. Also enjoyed the decor.

We heard it was the best steakhouse in the area; best place for steaks. So we went there with expectations and we were disappointed. The service was ok but not overwhelmingly good and the food as well. The price though was way up there. Definately too expensive for what we got. We went at La porte grecque prior to going there and we enjoyed the flavors and food more than at this place.. and it's a lot more affordable (way busy though). We might go back and give it another chance though... but we won't be regulars that's for sure.

An excellent restaurant and a wonderful discovery. We came here for my friend's birthday. The service is impeccable and friendly. The food is incredible, especially if you order the all-you-can-eat mussels (les moules à volonté)--the julienne fries are all-you-can-eat as well. I ordered from the table d'hôte menu. There is also a bistro menu. The wine selections are wonderful. They even keep the white wines refrigerated. This is a great restaurant to celebrate either in a group or one-on-one with that special someone.

I had to pleasure of going to the `Lapin qui tousse`for the fisrt time last week.
If you plan to go, make a reservation, the place was full.
the appetizers were a amazing, the Onion soup was by far the best ever (a tad spicy which really worked).
The main dishes were all good to very good (rack of Lamb, steak and Scallops). They were all good but unfortunately they did not remove the mambrane off the scallops which took away from the experience.
the Deserts were all excellent (sugar pie with ice cream), chocolate cake.
Please note that the wine we selected was sold for $95 ... The same wine downtown sells for twice that price (and even more)
All and all a nice experience.
I would recommend.

Back in Joliette (QC) for the evening again, had to stop into Tekka for dinner,
the service here is genuinely friendly and very helpful, The menu is in French so I'm at a definite disadvantage, but the fella looing after me just asked what to you like and from there it was done, let him know I like spicy and anything with fish (no eel) and from there he recommended a couple of rolls. both where great. Been here a few times and have yet to be disappointed.
I highly recommend Tekka if your a fan of good sushi.

If you are ever in Joliette check out this restaurant. This place has a great ambiance and is perfect for a private party. The food was very tasty and the signature cocktail for our group was a pear mojito which was VERY IMPRESSIVE to my taste buds. Service was spot on for our group of 20 and we received our food very quickly. If ever I am in Joliette again I will definitely go back!
