This shop has the history of its origin & roots written on some products packaging. It's a simple shop, just like any ordinary bakery or confectionery. No fanciful decor. One can see these products are being made & baked fresh- the man at the back end of shop was making doughs of pre-baked products & trays of baked products can be seen. The packagings were beautiful & of good quality. Very well designed & gives a nostalgic touch to their products. We bought 3 items:1. Biscuit Tambun- not bad but a little hard. Definitely not as good as Him Hieang brand from Penang.2. Lotus Biscuit - seems to be their signature item as the old auntie was promoting very hard. Cost RM $3 per piece. Not cheap. Taste is average.3. Crispy Walnut Cake - Each piece is wrapped individually. Taste average & nothing special.Overall, we would say the products we bought are not bad, but we have tried better ones elsewhere in Malaysia. We don't see long queues or big crowds in the shop although we were here or passed by few times during our visit to Jonker Walk. They claimed to be "Malacca Famous product ". Well, judge for yourself.

Famous for its homemade wantan noodles in Tangkak. Their sauce is a little different from the normal black sauce. Char siew is homemade too. Pretty tasty actually. We also ordered a bowl of mixed wantan and beancurd skin. Delicious.
Restaurant Shan Ghai Tang is a popular wedding reception function venue for Tangkak folks as all diners can sit in on the ground floor with no need to climb any stairs. The menus are innovative and versatile. Food quality and service are also highly satisfactory with reasonable pricing overall.

Hidden behind Caltex in Tangkak is this restaurant that sells delicious Tomyum mee hoon kuey and wanton mee. It is so addictive I crave for it so often! The Tomyum ee Mian is just as good, with a generous portions of enoki mushroom, cuttlefish, minced meat, meatballs and fishballs. Donât forget to order chilli dumplings too as appetisers!

Tangkak Beef Noodle is a Chinese restaurant. They serve Asian Fusion cuisine. Their must-try dish is called Traditional Herbal Beef Soup
The Beef Noodles here is exceptionally good. Love the soup and also the tenderness of the beef. The broth is cooked to perfection and service is very swift too. Definitely lives up to its billing. It is definitely a must try when you are in Tangkak.
