Yet another Yangzhou institution. Perfect for Chinese dumpling breakfast. I had the famous xiao long bao (small soup dumplings) and wonton soup, which were both delicious, No room for jiaozi (crescent shaped fried or steamed dumplings) or baozi (steamed buns) today, Very popular with the locals; a slick operation if you know how it works, You order and pay at the front counter (but don't expect polite queueing, you have to be assertive), find your own table, then some things are delivered to your table and some things you need to pickup. Luckily I had a Chinese host. It might be a little difficult in English but I suspect they would go out of their way to help you as Chinese seem to enjoy.I'll be back one fine day.
