I enjoyed dinner and a few beers with a friend here recently. The Lighthorse is tad more refined and elegant than most bars in the area, and actually had someone playing the baby grand piano when we were in. Decent beer selection, particularly in bottles, and the bar staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I tried the meatloaf, which came wrapped in bacon, and was bursting with rich flavours, just as I like it.

We tried the famous Roast Beef sandwich on a Thurs., it did not disappoint.....the dipping juice was yummy. Be sure to try the fresh mozzarella...they will offer you a sample...it is to die for ! Everyone working in the shop are so nice and friendly...service with a smile. Parking in the back for a few cars. We ate our food at nice park...Columbus Park nearby.

The food was really delicious. We had the empanadas and calamari for appetizers. I had the salmon with parsnip purée and it was excellent. The flan was the best I’ve had and the stuffed chocolate chimichurros were over the top. Service was great. Just don’t let them
Seat you at the table by the edge of the steps!!!
I’ll bet they try to seat everyone there first!

Went there for dinner and there was a nice variety of pasta dishes. I was disappointed at the otherwise limited selection. One chicken with mushrooms, one salmon, and one eggplant parm. There was standalone chicken that could probably be adddd to a pasta dish but that’s not what 2 of us new to the restaurant expected. Still the pasta and meatball appetizer were good, as was the service.
I’d only go back if I only wanted pizza or pasta.

The menu is varied, breakfast served all day. Staff is very nice and efficient. The big attraction is portions. Most entrees are in the $15 range but come with $20 or more worth of food. Many ingredients home made. I wanted to give them a 5 but I couldn't. Why? Corned beef. One of the two nights I visited I ordered a soup and sandwich combo (which came with a house salad for $12?!?!?) and the corned beef was fatty and overcooked. If you are going to serve corned beef anywhere close to Brooklyn it has to be decent! That said, it's a strong 4 and a solid no-frills dining option (worth noting is a full bar)

Havana meets Miami in Hoboken! Serving traditional Cuban food at both locations. At the Uptown location serving over 40 Wines-by-the-Glass and a dozen Craft Beers on tap.
A dear friend just moved back to Hoboken and raved about this Cuban restaurant. I was disappointed that they had run out of the picadillo, but was very pleased with the pork dish I got. Fantastic beans and rice. We had a few servers, and our favorite was Pedro. Charming, sweet, genuinely friendly. Definitely going back!

"A flawlessly designed eating and drinking complex that looks both industrial and luxurious." Situated on the Hudson with breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline, Battello offers an unforgettable culinary experience featuring a contemporary Italian based, seafood-influenced menu designed by one of New Jersey's top culinary masters, Chef Ryan DePersio. Battello takes its design clues from the neighboring marina, with a touch of rustic welcoming elegance that is both industrial and luxurious. Much of the marina-inspired decor is salvaged, including the rowboat hanging above the entrance and the brass yacht lanterns affixed to the walls. Floor to ceiling windows on three sides of the dining room effortlessly open up, providing a haven for dockside dining and cocktails during warmer months and electrifying views of lower Manhattan.
Batello has all night happy hour on Monday and Thursday with good price for beer, wine and appetizer. The view is amazing and during the summer you can stand in front of the local close to the water...this is a perfect relaxing night with friends or coworkers.

This is a new concept of "fast food",we only use fresh and high quality Italian Products, that are Imported directly from Italy, like our Bufala Mozzarella delivered to as fresh every week. The bread we use, comes from one of the finest bakeries in Brooklyn-Bensonhurst. It is delivered to us every morning, fresh, fragrant and still warm right out of the oven.
How comforting to find 100% Italian cured meats and fresh cheeses generously filling a real, gigantic loaf of bread. We were both hungry and one panino split in half was plenty. High quality, great value, friendly staff - they are doing a wonderful job! I suggest trying the pastry and coffee shop at the left as well :)

Got an arancini here and I can honestly say it was one of the best I've ever had. I'd really like to go back and try one of the sandwiches.

Great food, great service, great drinks and a spectacular view of New York.
The staff was attentive, accommodating and efficient. We weren't rushed and the ambiance was terrific.
The maitre'd, Carlo is most helpful and has a great personality. People make or break a business and Carlo definitely makes Liberty House a place you want to go to.
The variety and uniqueness of the food really separates Liberty House from your standard fare restaurants. While it is a little pricey it is well worth it.
