OK but could be better
Reviewed By tiwi91asArrived on 23 Dec and stayed for 5 nights. The room was pretty small for me and two-almost-grown-up-kids, but it was always clean and the staff made our room everyday. The bathroom is also very compact, like everything is within one or two steps away. The bathroom sink has been clogged since day 1, (the water doesn’t drain fast enough) - already tried to notify the housekeeping staff but no further changes until we checked out. The lighting in the bathroom: the hotel should consider to tear down the bathroom wall so the sun light can come in and add more lights into the bathroom. I like the water quality in our bathroom as it was always pouring, no smell, hot water was always available, and both the tap and shower were in a good condition too. The breakfast menu was standard and the food taste was also mediocre, not too bad and not tasty either. Overall, the hotel need to consider to expand their building, either horizontally or vertically, that being said, they can dedicate one floor as their breakfast area and they can also add more rooms to sell. I like to big window in our bedroom for we can see the city view and night lights from our bed. The TV channel was great, they provided Indovision channels. Light fixtures and bed were also Okay- not too crazy about them but they’re Okay- The hotel location is close to Malioboro - maybe about 200m away. Thank you, and I hope this review is helpful.

Reviewed By metahalleyna29Decided to book this hotel since it looks nice and decent despite the mixed reviews on Traveloka. Stayed for only 1 night and didn’t a fancy hotel. Check in was smooth, no hassle at all. Room was clean. Small but does not feel too cramped. It was similar (if not slightly bigger) than hotel rooms in Tokyo. Bed was comfy. AC was so cold. Shower room is clean, just okay. All in all, it was fairly priced I think. Decor of the hotel is kind of instagramable. A bit noisy at around 10-11pm (for some reason there was this family with kids that just kept on conversing in loud voice). Would go back, I think.

Shabby;not worth the stay
Reviewed By Camper50840667846Hotel needs a re-do no doubt. Shabby and honestly room was quite sad a state dirty bed linen, spots on the floor & a broken water kettle.Windows were dirty- hand marks all over! Yuck! Maybe they were closed during Covid but they need to keep it clean

Known as “Swiss van Java” in colonial times, our hotel is situated at Garut town area within picturesque volcanoes and surrounded with many tourist spots, such as hiking tracks, traditional hot spas, lakes, and villages. Galunggung and Papandayan Mountains are the major attraction points, and a 7-km long white sand beach at Gunung Geder is also a spot that is not to be missed.

Reviewed By Bagus WI've been fans of Santika Hotel brand for long, and upon knowing that they opens a new hotel in Garut, I'm keen to try it out. As a person who get used to clearer traffic of East Java, accessing this hotel from Bandung proved to quite a struggle as the main road between Bandung and Garut is full of traffic jams, thanks to the presence of factories in the middle of what used to be an idyllic countryside. Upon arriving, we were greeted by the bellboy and receptionist who helped us to check in and settle to our room. The view from our room is truly breathtaking and we marveled the scenic countryside just by lying on our bed. However, there were some added notes in regards to this hotel: - the bathroom floor doesn't seem to be designed to allow the water to go to drainage easily, which resulting in rather dangerous puddles. - whenever I stayed in Santika hotels, I always wanted to eat sausage and potato products during breakfast buffet. I notice that both products were absent in this Garut hotel. There's sausage, but I have to ask them from the cook who prepared the omelette. Overall, I have good impression of staying in the hotel, and keen to return back again.

Harganya memang murah untuk fasilitas dan lokasi yang strategis (meski aksesnya harus masuk dalam "gang" seukuran 1 mobil). Namun karena itu juga ekspektasi saya jadinya terlalu berlebihan, Alhasil saya belum bisa kasi bintang 5. Secara umum, saya suka ruang komunalnya yang lapang dan nyaman. Sayangnya AC nya (mereka memakai tipe AC sentral) kurang dingin. Alhasil kalo siang hari nongkrong disini terasa gerah. Mungkin juga karena ruangannya terlalu luas kali ya. Trus juga enggak tersedia camilan dan minuman dingin dalam showcase cooler untuk tamu. Jadinya kalo sekedar pengen ngemil dan minum harus keluar jalan kaki cari warung. Untung kamar sih fine-lah dengan harga segitu.

Reviewed By dzmiguelLokasi strategis di belakang jalan Utama, masih bisa dilalui mobil, meskipun bukan jalan umum. Ke Jalan Raya tinggal jalan kaki melalui Gang Kecil. Terdapat Parkiran Mobil dan Motor juga di Basement, Security sangat ramah. Di Lantai bawah gabung dengan tempat Kopi, dan di Rooftop itu restaurant. Saat masuk benar2 tidak terlihat seperti Hotel, Check in aja dilayani di Kasir Coffee Shop. Dengan Harga yang ditawarkan di Range 200 ribuan, untuk Kamar menurut saya sangat bersih. Ada Air panas, AC dingin, dan tentu saja TV . Pelayanan dari pihak FO dan juga House keeping sangat baik. Saat saya kesini Breakfast Buffet, dan boleh di bawa ke kamar ( Karena keterbatasan tempat di Rooftop ). Proses Check in dan check out juga cepat, tidak berbelit. Meskipun terlihat sederhana, tapi terdapat Lift. Meskipun di dalam lift 2 orang aja sudah berasa penuh ( Tergantung seberapa besar kita nya juga sih ). Overall cocok banget ini Hotel Budget, buat yang butuh buat istirahat saja, sambil menunggu Flight, atau balik dari kereta subuh2, karena menurut saya lumayan dekat dengan stasiun juga lokasinya. The hotel also situated close to many government offices and shopping area, this makes the hotel to be perfect choice for both business and leisure.

Reviewed By IsnanitiyanusThe best reason to stay here is that the location, it's strategic and close to Pasar Senen Station. Stayed here for a night and nothing special about it. pricey for a mall room. The service was also not so good cause it was taking so long for c/in, and I needed to ask third times for additional mineral water. They also didn't even provide free shuttle to Pasar Senen Station meanwhile I paid 270K for 3,5 hours late C/out.
