Escape the urban bustle and make Jasper your home base for exploring Canada's extraordinary wilderness. As a mountain town, it's low-key and unpretentious with good food and drink; as a destination, it's an outdoor sports lover's playground, with hiking and golfing in summer and skiing and dog sledding in winter. If it's chilly, heat up at Miette Hot Springs in the National Park.

2 orders of fish and chips and a bowl of clam chowder plus 2 ice teas and 1 hot tea cost us over $75! Service was pretty good as we were a large group.

Welcome to Jasper's cozy Rocky Mountain restaurant. Located on the 2nd floor gives our patrons a beautiful scenic view of the Jasper Mountains and scenery. Fiddle River is Jasper's premier seafood restaurant and serves fresh fish, seafood, wild game and Alberta AAA Angus beef. Interesting appetizers include Earl Grey Smoked Candied Salmon, Fish Cakes, Bourbon glazed Pork Belly and Coconut Prawns. We also feature a variety of salads, pasta dishes and vegetarian entrees. A reasonable wine list and great service are additional reasons why you should make your dinner Reservations tonight. Enjoy our outdoor patio while overlooking Jasper's beautiful Mountains.
We visited the restaurant during our Jasper in January stay. We tried the Candied salmon with a side salad as their offering for Foodapoloosa. Pared with a white wine it was wonderful. The presentation was stunning and so was the taste. The staff was friendly and attentive. It is a place that we will be returning again.

Casual, contemporary atmosphere awaits in our beautifully renovated dining room. Friendly service adds warmth and hospitality to a menu full of fresh, creative fare. During the summer months, enjoy dinner amidst the flowers and trees on our covered, heated garden Terrace. Jasper's best selection of craft beers. Buffet Breakfast $12.95
We couldn’t find the menu on the website but took a chance. Really good choices on the menu. Lovely salads to start. The ribs were excellent as was the salmon. One of my friends tried the ‘Rich Man’s Poutine ‘ which was also really good.
We particularly liked that the meals came with vegetables (on this occasion pak choy, celeriac and carrots) plus mashed potatoes. We found it to be quite rare to have so many vegetables.
We all loved the Oreo Mocha Mud Pie it was delicious.
The service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Simple, and straight forward review. Passing through Jasper my kids and I stopped to eat here. The pizza was great, better then most franchise pizza places. The soup of the day was excellent and salad taste fresh. Service was quick and friendly. Overall a good stop and will hit this up next trip through the National Parks.

Welcome to our "cabin in the woods", Tekarra Restaurant, Jasper's fine dining experience since 1952. Chef Dale Nutt, and owners Mike and Cyndi Day, created a menu inspired by regional products such as Alberta bison and AAA beef, Wild Boar, free run chicken, and Arctic Char. Our appetizers feature small and shared plates and follow the same theme with meat and cheese boards, house smoked trout, and deviled eggs with bacon jam, to name but a few. Our service team are here to ensure you have an enjoyable, relaxing dining experience. Cheers!
We decided to splurge on our last night in Jasper, and so headed to this restaurant. We'd read reviews, knew there were some disappointed diners out there, but the overall reviews won out. Boy, what a mistake!
Starting with the duck & mushroom tart, which was quite average, we knew we'd chosen the wrong place to have a special meal. But we soldiered on. I decided to make a meal of the appetizer portions of the Brussel sprouts and bison/boar meatballs. For $12.99, I assume the sprouts would be awesome. Instead, they were awe-ful. Everything in the dish was overcooked, the sprouts, the quinoa, the cranberries, etc., and there was not a speck of seasoning anywhere. I know the restaurant has salt & pepper, I saw many shakers on the bar, but apparently there wasn't any in the kitchen. I did not finish this dish.
The meatballs were decent, I'll give the kitchen that, but not enough to save this meal. My spouse had the fried chicken, which sounded way more interesting than it turned out to be. Execution of what could have been a tasty combination of ingredients turned out to be a mish-mash of bizarreness.
How bad was this dinner overall? We skipped dessert, which we rarely do when eating out, and never skip when the meal is delicious.
So save your hard-earned money and go just about anywhere else in Jasper.

Oka Sushi is a small, intimate sushi bar located on the Beauvert Promenade at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Run by Sushi Chef Tatsuhiko Okaki, Oka Sushi is a favourite among guests and locals alike. Sushi is always on the menu, with products shipped in from Japan and Vancouver. Any sushi lover will appreciate the high quality and warm customer service of this charming sushi restaurant.
We enjoyed many different dishes at Oka. There were 4 in our party, and we shared most plates. We also enjoy some hot saki and Japanese beer. Great service by our chef and his assistant. Very entertaining and personable. The restaurant is small, only Seating 12, but big on heart and food. We made Reservations in advance. Enjoy!

Funky, upbeat, family owned restaurant with a globally inspired, locally sourced menu.
My annual birthday dinner at Evil Dave's - we've been doing it for years. This was the first year that I was truly disappointed. The menu had changed, our favourites no longer there, and replaced with disappointing meals. Service was terrible, and the manager had attitude when I politely told him of our experience. We will not be back - on the look out for a new birthday celebration.

After stuffing ourselves for about 10 days, we were in need of something fresh. Dropped into Patricia Street Deli for a salad roll and it was fantastic. Great choices of fillings, almost too many, and the rolls were fresh and crunchy. This place is as far from a plate of poutine as you can get. And that is a very good thing.

The Downstream was recreated in 2008 by local owner Sotirios Korogonas as a concept for a modern restaurant & lounge that retains Jasper's mountain town spirit and casual feel. Chef David Gomez masterfully delivers Jasper's best homemade meals using only the freshest ingredients. His attention to detail and passion for excellence is defined by the superior reputation his menu and our staff have earned amongst our loyal customers. Shawn Routledge and our service team ARE dedicated to ensuring a superior experience by providing our customers with a truly comfortable atmosphere in the most personal public room in Jasper. Together we have created a menu that is the best dollar for dollar value in the park.
The restaurant is essentially a basement pub with fine dining prices. The decor is wanting but it seemed to be a popular, happening place. I had the burger with sweet potato fries and it was very good. They also have an extensive drink menu and some interesting food items. My group was disappointed with the prices but happy with the quality of the food.
