Reviews on International food in Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Bounded by the Karakoram and Himalayan mountains, Ladhak is the largest province in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The landscape of Ladhak, a high altitude desert, is defined by craggy, barren cliffs and plateaus. Ladhak is a favorite among adventure sports enthusiasts, offering unique adventures in trekking, mountaineering and white water rafting. While rafting options are available on both Indus and Zanskar rivers, the Zanskar course is more difficult and exciting. The trekking options range from short, day-long walks to visit monuments or monastic settlements to long, trans-mountain treks involving weeks of walking and camping in the wilderness. Ladhak celebrates a numbers of monastic festivals - annual events of the major monasteries primarily in winters. The month of September, hosts the Ladhak Festival, that gives a peek into the richness, depth and pageantry of Ladakh's centuries-old culture, traditions and folk heritage. One can witness the best samples of the region's performing arts, Archery contests and the Ladhak Polo Cup.

Super small portion, I remained hungry. The pasta was very little, tasted like bread with tomato sauce and waiter was super annoying. Great disappointment for relatively expensive price.

We had a takeaway order for starters as well as dinner. The food was really tasty and the manager was very polite as well. The tea in the restaurant is also very good. We had taken a kashmiri wazwan dish and that was truly amazing. Overall a whiff of fresh air from the other restaurants in the market.

To be honest we didnât expect much, because it is a place in main backpackers â street. We had Ladakhi-Tibetan food which was really nice, freshly made and served properly. And the prices are just great, even not expensive! Will visit this place again.

Bodhi Greens is now open in Leh and ready to serve delicious vegan food. In Leh we're open only in summertime, that gives us the opportunity to use the best ingredients grown locally to prepare foods and beverages. We offer a wide range of cakes, whole fo
Leh's Crown Jewel. You would never expect such a place in the middle of the mountains anywhere in the world let alone in Leh, Ladakh. The minute you come in you are enticed to sit on the cushioned floor seating overlooking the snow-capped mountain peaks. Other places in Leh which I have been to have been either facing the opposite direction of the mountains or the view is obstructed; not Bodhi Greens. Atmosphere. Food. Service. They were all stellar and above my expectations. I was worried that the quality and consistency of their food and service could not be maintained but because the owners so humbly work there everyday (you would think they are guests!) they make sure everything runs smoothly while entertaining customers and giving some local knowledge here and there. I cannot stress enough how nice the experience was here, in terms of service, atmosphere, and food. If you are in the Leh region, this restaurant is must visit even if you don't like vegan food.

I visited the Lamayuru restaurant in Leh city last May'19 with my wife. She opted for some Tibetan dish but I went for conventional Chinese dish, food was excellent tasty and most of all well prepared. We have nice memory of Lamayuru restaurant.

Bon Appetit is closed for the winter. We hope to see you all mid-May 2018. Thank You
This place is slightly hidden from the main market but maybe that is what makes it so peaceful. The menu is diverse and interesting and the food is yummy. One of the best places in ladakh that we visited. There is ample outside seating that overlooks the beautiful mountains and valley.

The restaurant is very near Yatra Parchi counter. I had Masala Dosa and Chole Bhature. All were very tasty, were surprised to see the size of puffed Bhature which were quite large. Blindly go for this restaurant, you will enjoy your food. Price are bit costly but ambience and food are really good. Full A/C restaurant with well behaved staff.
