Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Nubra Valley. Nubra (Tibetan : ལྡུམ་ར; Wylie : ldum ra; English : Nubra) is a tri-armed valley located to the north east of Ladakh valley. Diskit the capital of Nubra is about 150 km north from Leh town, the capital of Ladakh district, India. Local scholars say that its original name was Ldumra (the valley of flowers). The Shyok River meets the Nubra or Siachan River to form a large valley that separates the Ladakh and Karakoram Ranges. The Shyok river is a tributary of the Indus river. The average altitude of the valley is about 10,000 ft. i.e. 3048 metres above the sea level. The common way to access this valley is to travel over the Khardung La pass from Leh town. Foreign nationals are required to get a Protected area permit to visit the Nubra Valley. Since 1 April 2017 Indian citizens are also required to get an Inner Line Permit to visit the valley.

We visited the restaurant for dinner with family...the restaurant is located on the 4th Floor of the Fortune Riviera Hotel..the seating is decent with table settings for a group of 4 or larger..the decor is drab..nothing special, remarkable or memorable...there is a balcony adjoing the restaurant...the restaurant focuses primarily on North Indian food. The menu has choices for starters and main dishes but does not offer a very wide variety of dishes in the main course..the menu definitely needs a re-look...although there was not much rush, the service was definitely not up to the mark..we could actually see the steward having words with a server right in the middle of the restaurant....it was shocking to see... the servers were not very familiar with the menu and could not offer much help in terms of recommending dishes ...the server serving food at our table was clumsy and was stepping on our feet, pushing the chairs and splashing the dishes...no finesse or grace there.....our food was served within 15-20 minutes of the order...food quality and portions were decent...but there was not much to remember in terms of flavour..we had a chicken and two vegetarian dishes...there was nothing wrong with the dishes but it was just ordinary fare..the live one man singing act was a highlight...the singer did a good job...at the end, the credit card machine at the restaurant was not working and the server went with us downstairs to the reception to swipe the card...a quick intercation showed that the reception staff was not very polished...Overall, very medicore...although our previous many visits to the coffee shop at the ground floor had been much memorable..The restaurant management definitely needs to pull up their socks and have a re-look at the ovrall functioning of the restaurant to maintain its reputation and clientel..

While on darshan, best place to go place fast food on the go amongst all bhojanalyas Self service with basic south and Indian dishes prepared without garlic and onion. Considering limitations it has decent menu, service speed and quality. Filter coffee was very good and were the gulab jamuns

Clean and decent ambience. They have separate place for vegetarians and non vegetarians. They have a bar also which is separate.The Wazwan dish taste really good. Itâs almost same as that of authentic food in Kashmir. Staff is nice. A very clean and well maintained place by govt. A must try for non vegetarians if you want to have wazwan and a perfect decent place for family to go and enjoy the food.. Kahwa was also nice. The rates are also very average.

The restaurant is very near Yatra Parchi counter. I had Masala Dosa and Chole Bhature. All were very tasty, were surprised to see the size of puffed Bhature which were quite large. Blindly go for this restaurant,you will enjoy your food. Price are bit costly but ambience and food are really good. Full A/C restaurant with well behaved staff.
