My husband and I stopped by this past Friday night. We opted to sit outside and even though it was around 55 degrees we were quite comfortable, as the restaurant has many outside heaters. The food was delicious and we had a courteous server. The rosemary bread was okay, it was made different than it was the time we were there. We did miss the cushions that they have offered in the past.

We are a small cafe that holds 17 to 20 guests and all of our crepes are made to order. The penny Path is not a quick fix, if you have 10 folks in front of you expect to wait a little for your turn;) We offer sweet and savory crepes as well as made to order Coffee Drinks. Our savory menu is all vegetable and cheese based. We offer one main savory Crepe, the "Kitchen Sink" which contains a little of all the savory ingredients we carry. Guests can also create their own savory crepe with the available ingredients. Anyone of our Crepe Cooks can also be trusted to be let loose to create whatever they feel like for you, commonly know here as the "Trust Me" Crepe.
My husband got "the kitchen sink," a savory crepe, and I got a sweet crepe filled with their house cream and various berries along with whipped cream, powdered sugar, and honey. We plan on coming back for dinner! This place was amazing and we highly recommend it.

Owner/Chef Paul Riggan is serving an artistically infused menu with creations influenced from French, Asian, Caribbean and low country cuisines. Potato Crusted Salmon, a delectable Stealhead Carolina Trout as well as nightly specials await your selection. Feel free to look through the menus section to see the wide variety of food offered. Wonderful cuisines which range from Veal Crostini to a very tasty BBQ Duck Confit served over smoked cheddar polenta, locally grown collard greens and finished with a tangy barbecue sauce. Blue Water Grilled also offers a wide variety of non-seafood entrees including beef tenderloin. - See more at: http://www.Bluewatergrillenc.Com/About-Us#sthash.TtdOQswA.Dpuf
We've been to the Blue Water Grill several times over the years for special occasions and quiet dinners. The bar experience, alone, is worth a visit. The evening dinner experience, however, is beginning to pale. We talked-up the restaurant to some friends who had never been there and wen together. The decor hasn't aged well. It's dark and dingy. Even the limited menu looked and felt old. I ordered scallops because of the preparation description: "pan-seared, cauliflower cream, charred corn, zucchini, spinach, fingerling potatoes, tomato-crab relish." Sounds great, right? These items arrived under four scallops in an over-cooked, tasteless mash. And all for $28. A total disappointment. None of our table-mates offered a stellar review of their entrees either.

Starbucks had its boom in the coffee market and we all rushed in to get our $6 coffee. It's kind of played out as other places are meeting the fru-fru coffee taste with low prices. The pretentious Venti, Latte, Skim, half caf, blah, blah, blah is overplayed and in my opinion, overwhelming to newcomers. It is intimidating and becoming more of a status symbol. The coffee is wonderful, I won't deny, but even Dunkin Donuts has upped their game and keeps our wallets happy.

We were finally able to get to this restaurant and we are so glad we did. Great food and great service is what you will receive. The place is small in space but huge in what it has to offer. We can't wait to return and try some more of a menu filled with enticing appetizers and entrees.

I have nothing but great things to say about Carter Brothers. I have eaten at both locations, and they have catered a meal at a previous place of employment. I have tried different things and have never been disappointed. The owner, Tim Carter truly walks by what he puts on his menu about Christ, he doesn't just write things about God and post a sign about why he is closed on Sunday. I recently reached out to him about a service project I was doing and he allowed the Lord to lead him and made a donation of food towards our meal. I am forever grateful & will continue to eat there as long as I am in the area!

After finding Sammy G’s (figuratively and logistically) last month we have been back 3 times!! It is hands down the best service and food in the Triad. Over the span of these 4 visits we have had wonderful meals including the Lobster Nachos appetizer; Steak and Cake (filet migon topped with lump crab cake; Teryaki Chicken breast; the Sammy G (seafood platter). Everything has been perfectly prepared, plated and served hot and timely with their pleasant outstanding service.
Of couse each time we share the melt in your mouth desserts.
Our only problem is that we are sad we have not tried Sammy Gs before now. We have a lot of catching up to do but what a delicious problem.
Hope you enjoy as much as we have. Hey we even bought Sammy G gift cards for Christmas gifts.

We have been looking for a restaurant than has great food, charctor and full of love. We have found it. We have the white fish, collard greens and Mac &cheese. The collard green were the best I've ever had. Fish and mac & cheese were outstanding. We will definitely be back. Meat loaf I here is out of this world. A must try.....
