Reviews on Steakhouse food in Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico. Ajijic, a small idyllic town in Mexico, is the perfect setting to enjoy a quiet and relaxing holiday. Enjoy a night of lively music in the plaza of this picturesque town or enjoy a stroll along the lakeside path. Visit the colorful Chapala handicrafts market, or relax and enjoy lunch and a beautiful view at the Beergarden restaurant by the pier. If you’re traveling with children, take them to Christiania Park, right next to the market. At the park, they can play on the expansive lawn or on the playground. Take a day trip to the Casacadas de Agua, a favorite spot with the locals and a great place to spend with family. Climb the waterfalls or swim in sparkling pools at the base of the falls. Find a shady spot to enjoy the lunch you packed at your holiday rental or try a local delicacy at one of the many small restaurants in the area.

This is another place that does get a lot of hype, but man, they lived up to the publicity. Service was fast and friendly, but not trying to hustle us out. The food was amazing, a really nice wine list, and good prices. We will be back!

Met with friends for a farewell dinner. What a great experience..Not only amazing Margaritas...But the Beef was delicious, cooked to perfection..the way it was ordered..All but one had the Mini Fillet 8.5 oz. of deliciousness.....Can not imagine how many the 12.5 oz would feed...But great for left overs..And one of us really enjoyed the Prime Rib Dip...Baked Potatoes...yummy...and salads crisp & fresh...Great wait staff..place clean & bright..Would recommend Brunoâs to any meat lover..

Steakhouse, seafood and pasta. Fine cuts of beef, seafood and Mexican "molcajetes". The best and most unique flavors and ambiance in Ajijic. Excellent service. Live romantic music and dancing every Friday. Open year round.
Our first time there, service was very good, staff attentive. Drinks were delicious and the free tequila an added bonus. Our food choices were enjoyed by all. It was a nice touch that the owner stopped by the table.

We were invited to a birthday party that a vegan friend had here. Yes, a vegan had her party at a steak house.I ordered âjustâ a burger. It was gigantic. And so tasty all on its own that it needed nothing to flavor it. The French fries were crisp and delicious.Next time, a steak.

Los Mejores Cortes de la Ribera de Chapala! VisÃtanos y disfruta una deliciosa comida o cena, con un excelente vino y el mejor servicio.
We have eaten at this restaurant 3 times and really liked the food, but last night was our last time there. In Mexico, it is illegal to charge the IVA tax of 18% on top of your meal, it is always included on the price on the menu. Yesterday, they added it on at the end of the bill which was another $64.88 pesos. Of course, this time we had a different waiter than the 2 times before. We didn't say anything, to not make a fuss, however, we will not be going back! BEWARE, when in Mexico, the tax is always added into the price on the menu.Mister Wiz:I would like to clarify this situation, because you are right with some things and WRONG whit others...First of all, you are right about being illegal charging IVA Tax on top of the prices listed. And the IVA is 16%, NOT 18%.What you probably don't know is that BY LAW we have to let you know how much tax you are paying And that is why you saw the SUBTOTAL + IVA which gave the total that you paid. The only problem here is that you never compared the prices on the menu to your ticket, if you had, you would have realized that there is NO EXTRA, but the system that we use splits it automatically, because, again, you have to tell your customer how much tax they paid.An example: if a dish costs $116 pesos on the menu, you would see this SUBTOTAL: $100.00IVA: 16.00TOTAL: $116.00So, you can be sure that there was no cheating on your check. Now, I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND that when ever you see something like these happening, PLEASE PLEASE LET THE MANAGER KNOW ABOUT IT!If you had, we would have gladly explained the case and you would have avoided having a "bad experience" and you would have saved us from have a 1 star rating for something that is wrong... :(We truly hope to have you back and have a chance to explain in case there is any doubt.Thank you and hope to see you soon!
