We have been going to 116 Pulpito for several years now. We generally go on Mondays for their Tapas night. I love their tapas! They are so inventive. We always have the sangria with our meals. Their sangria is outstanding. We love the staff there also, especially Benja. He's such a nice person! My only suggestion for tapas night is not to toast the bread too hard. I actually cut the inside of my cheek on a piece of bread (not badly). Last year (2018), I don't remember the bread being toasted that hard. With that being said, this is a wonderful, small restaurant with really good food and service.Give it a try!

I’ve been walked by this place so many times. I found it by chance. When I walked inside it was like a small hidden paradise. Beautiful decor, enchanting courtyard with romantic lighting. And the food was amazing. Every item we was tasty and well prepared. It will be on the top of my list. The beef fillet was entree. Must try.

We have flown down to Puerto Vallarta three times to enjoy for Chef Chanan's amazing pasta and Natalie's delicious desserts. The food is amazing and the last visit I had the most amazing local fish with beurre blanc sauce and sweet corn. Pastas are all amazing, loved the squid ink chittarra, it tasted like a gift from the sea, so fresh and the flavors were fabulous. You must leave room for dessert, during our visits we usually end up ordering one of each but the lemon meringue tart is our absolute favorite. The staff could not be nicer, the overall experience is wonderful. And to top it off, the prices are quite reasonable. Next door they have now opened a fun taco bar that is outstanding, so if you have all day, go have tacos for lunch explore PV and then go back for a scrumptious dinner! I will most certainly keep flying down just to visit Tre Piatti and Don Chaya!!

Boccon di Vino

Mezzogiorno was good but way too much sauce, Dolce Vita was excellent but more of a Jersey vibe, Boccon di Vino was just right. The caprese salad was fresh and delicious. The fried calamari was just ok, however the pastas and sauces were delectable. Especially the spaghetti vongole and salmon ravioli. There were only 3 reasonably priced good wines and all were out of stock, however in a classy move they only charged us the price of the bottle we wanted for a better Nero d’Avola. All restaurants should learn from them because it allowed us to enjoy the wine so much that we ordered a second bottle. Win win! The service was excellent if not bordering on over attentive. Even their mariachi band was the best in PV so far.

The service is excellent maybe because we visit often but to be fair, the service is always good. With one exception! We were a group of 6 celebrating 3 birthdays that had already happened and one about to happen. I personally mentioned, upon arrival, that we were there for such special occasion. When at the end of the evening we didn't see the typical one tiny piece of cake or whatever with a candle on it, I asked. A convention of servers gathered by the bar to make the decision. The bill was paid and absolutely nothing was done. No Happy Birthday, nothing! In the scope of things, how out of the world would have been to offer one tiny piece of cake for the occasion. Regarding this, I give this restaurant a minus -1. Too bad public relations. The owner should retrain his servers! we were not asking for a bottle of Champagne, just a miserable piece of cake with a candle. My risotto needed to be creamer and not as 'al dente' as it was served. The rest of my friends enjoyed the meal. The martini glass is super small as well as the miniature olives....................Best,Dear Azulica, thank you so much for you honestly review, I'll wish not write about this because is something should have not passed, We're gonna check with our Staff to not repeat this mistake again. we'll take all your comments for be better, Thank you so much, we apologies for the inconvenience, Trio public relationships.
