It is located 124 km south of Guadalajara in the Southeast Region and is a popular resort destination for travelers from Guadalajara. Its name comes from the Nahuatl and means "place where arrows to hunt deer are made"; its area is 177.18 km. According to Count II Population and Housing, the municipality has 11671 inhabitants who are devoted mainly to the tertiary sector. For its natural environment it is considered by the federal Secretariat of Tourism as a Pueblo Mágico.

We've lived in Jalisco for 5 years, and this place has the best food-fired pizza that we've had in the country! While the restaurant is unassuming from the outside, the pizza just can't be beat. They also have other Italian dishes, though we've never made it past the pizza to try other parts of the menu. We also recommend a pitcher of their fruit juices to accompany your dinner.Este lugar tiene la mejor pizza a la leÃ±a que he probado en todos mis aÃ±os en MÃ©xico. Desde afuera este restaurante se ve muy humilde, pero la pizza estÃ¡ increÃble!

Es la segunda vez que visitÃ³ este lugar, y me encanto. Es un restaurante fusiÃ³n, donde combinan la cocina Argentina, Italia y Mexicana. El sazÃ³n es muy bueno, la atenciÃ³n excelente y precios justos. Esta ubicado casi en el centro de Mazamitla. Lo recomiendo definitivamente.
