We stopped by to enjoy an early dinner and was not disappointed! First time there and will def be back! Choice of dry or wet ribs, we chose dry and they gave us sauce on the side. I ate with no sauce, hubby dipped into sauce. One order of a whole slab was enough for us to share and still have some to bring home. It was great and the atmosphere is delightful!

These cupcakes are the best. Bot piled 12 feet high with mediocre icing just for looks, but topped with really good icing. The cake is ALWAYS moist and delicious.

We experienced fast and friendly service. Varied menu with lunch specials are offered. The half Tuscan Chicken sandwich with the Alabama Greens Salad is the best! Tables and booths are seating choices. Located near center of town. We dined for $10 or less. This was a great choice for us.

The coffee is coffee. I'm no coffee critic. The pastries are good. The place is very nice and welcoming. They are always playing Christian music which I like.

This is one of the best barbecue plates in Calhoun County! Here is their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Rocket/129116200473762
Very reasonable prices, albeit everything served on paper. Great tasting BBQ - pulled pork and sides, generous portions, quick service. No table service, order from counter and they call your number when it's ready. Saturday at noon, very busy, yet service was fast, food was good. Open 7 days a week. Cash or check only. In business since 1958 so they must be doing something right.

We stopped in for a couple of burgers while we were in town to ride on the Chief Ladiga Trail. Turned out to be raining so we didn't get to ride so figured we'd eat instead. Had read reviews from other Tripadvisor members that were good so figured why not. You order and pay at the counter and grab your own seat. They don't have many seats so if it got busy you could find yourself standing. However it seemed the incoming flow matched the outgoing flow so seats were always available when we were there which was prime lunch time of Friday. It took about 10 minutes for the food to arrive and you could tell it was cooked to order. The fries and onion rings were piping hot. Wife got salted caramel milkshake and it was pretty good too. The burgers were good but nothing outstanding. I wouldn't hesitate to stop in and eat again if I wanted just a burger and fries.

A group of 12 of us went in December for an after church dinner. The food was good and the service was nice. I frequent this restaurant on a regular basis. It is consistantly good. Not overly crowded, especially when college is not in session.

We've been going to Jax State for football games for years and just found Struts, which is right at the campus but hidden away. It's a wings and burgers sports place, good atmosphere. I had a burger that was decent, but I couldn't believe the fries! They were SOOO good. If you're a fries lover and you're in Jacksonville, AL, you have to go to Struts.

Jeffersons has always been a favorite place to go for wings, but everything I have tried there has been tasty. It can get crowded especially during JSU football games or special sports events on television. Service has always been decent. Be sure to look at all of the uniquely colored dollars on the walls.

So, this place is absolutely hideous. Falling apart, nasty, ugly, and just plain rough. But the magic that comes out of that kitchen is the most brilliant mystery in the history of food. The wings, The sandwiches, the fries................. ITS SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. I'm telling you, there is no other food like the Coop. This was the college town favorite. All the cool kids eat at the Coop. It's all to-go and I believe they deliver. If you are a health nut, you're gonna be offended here. THE BEST FOOD IN NORTH AMERICA. Coop Deville for President. (Coop 2020)
