If your in Izmir and want to eat in a smaller, more traditional town then this restaurant overlooking the fishing harbor at Urla is for you. tenge translates as crab. It's about 30 minutes away on a fast road on the South side of the estuary. The restaurant is quite upscale, very welcoming with attentive staff and serves an enormous selection of mezzes and a lot of different seafood which you select from the counter. There is no menu. The owners daughter speaks very good English and will guide you through the more unusual fish and local mezze dishes. Everything we tried was excellently prepared and tasted fabulous.thank you for your nice comments, we are happy to welcome you again in our restaurant.

Me , my wife and a friend been there twice and ate chicken , sardines as dish & as a sandwich.Everything about food was good at good price , and so was tea and ayran even location and view right next to seaside .Only negative thing was the quality of instant coffee - needs a lot of improvement- ...maybe in a future visit when coffee is ok maybe 4/5 can be 5/5 ...

One of the best seafood & Fish restaurant I have ever visited. Fresh fish, best calamari and delicious great salad with white cheese. If you are in the area of Izmir, this is a must visit. It is not a fancy place at all .... looks like a typical fishermen stand ..... it is worth it and the price is reasonable.

It's a typical Aegean restaurant. But this one is quiter than the others. Fish are fresh and appetizers - d'oeuvres are fine. You should try the shrimp - served with melted butter. Don't forget to mention that the fish should be caught fresh from the sea and not from the fish farm. It's a bit more expensive, but it's worth it.

I'll share my opinions in two parts, First is about the location and the ambiance, The restaurant located in one of the best place in İzmir , Uckuyular Ferry port. You have your meal like you're on the sea . The ambiance; first the smell of the sea take place in your nose, than the sunset on the Aegean&Karsıyaka appears in your eyes and fnally seagulls and ferries at your ears. Perfect match for a seaside :)Second Part,The food;Starters, as usual in Izmir fresh green stuff which unique for Aegean part of Turkey, very delicious as expected. Than hot appetizers, perfect match is grilled calamari and octopus on skewers, delicious is not the word that can describe the taste. During the summer the best is red mullet I prefer fried but grilled also be tasteful.Desert? I don't have big stomatch , this time I did not tried(What a shame)There are a lots of variants for food but those that I listed above my favorites.In addition, service quality maybe the best in Izmir.If you will be in Izmir , have dinner here at least one night. You won't be sorry for it.

This is a nice seafood restaurant at Sahilevleri. You need to follow side road parallel to the Cesme Motorway, until you see the signage of the restaurant which leads you to a narrow street between the gardens. You need to turn left when you reach the seafront. All seats of the restaurant on the outside terrace have sea view. You can pick fresh fish to be cooked.
