We asked among friends ''why there isn't any hostel in Izmir ? ''And couldn't find a certain reason. We have been on roads many times and needed places to stay and meanwhile decided to provide staying opportunities for friends all over the world. We also offer air conditioning :) Located in the heart of Izmir, In House Hostel provides help to our guests who would like to visit the surrounding areas (Pamukkale, Ephesus, Cesme, Selcuk). These areas are very near, so you can simply spend the day there and come back enjoying the great nightlife of Izmir and the comfort of In House Hostel. Our building is brand new, warm and perfectly constructed to suit the needs of hostel travelers. We have our common room in the entrance where you can hang out, combined with a kitchen where you can cook/prepare your meals. Up on the top we also have our terrace where you can sit down, relax and hang out. Facilities include: Air conditioning, Free internet (WiFi), Free luggage storage, Free tea and coffee, Free lockers, Laundry facilities to wash your clothes if you've been on the road for a while, travel information to help you plan the next stage of your journey without getting scammed by dodgy tour guides, free pub crawls, free walking tour (not like the typical tourist walking tour scams, we will tell you the local and real stuff.) We are right in the heart of Izmir, 3 minutes walk from Alsancak (main train station IZBAN). From 'In House Hostel', you can easily go to the main sights in Izmir, such as the Kordon (coast), Kıbrıs Şehitleri (Main Square) and the Clock Tower in Izmir. The hostel is 2.7 km from Izmir Clock Tower, 600 metres from Ataturk Museum and 1.5 km from Cumhuriyet Square. Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport is 17 km away. We have two 8 bed dorms, one 6 bed dorm and one 4 bed dorm. If you want some more privacy, we have a double(en suite) and a single bed private room. In-House Hostel Izmir's Policies & Conditions: Cancellation policy: 24 hours before arrival. Payment upon arrival by cash or credit card. Check in from 14:00 . Check out before 12:00 . Taxes included. Breakfast not included. You can leave your luggage in the hostel till you leave for the airport/station. Do not worry if you come earlier than the check in time, if your bed is ready, you can check in earlier, and if not, you can sit in our lounge drinking a cup of tea.

Business description (English) Our house with bay window, which is known as the historical Greek house built in 1809, has a total capacity of 10 people, including 4 rooms, 1 room with bunk beds and 3 rooms with double beds. Vakana House is in the Alsancak district of Izmir, which is famous for its history and entertainment. Vakana House is within walking distance to the promenade, Alsancak train station, historical Kemeraltı bazaar and cyprus martyrs street. It is 40 minutes by train to Adnan Menderes airport. I hope you will have a good time with art activities and other activities at certain times when you can enjoy both the garden and the terrace.
