Fabulous family run restaurant on the very outskirts of Waterloo/Braine l'Alleud. Easily accessible as it is located just off the Brussels ring. It is a cosy fermette style building with stables, fields an own livestock. Very friendly, attentive and knowledgable staff. The restaurant is not too big and it has got a very light and open tastefully decorated interior. The food is just FAB. Very refined and nicely presented. It is not cheap but well worth it for that special occasion.

The restaurant is a Greek restaurant, serving real Greek meals. For example, if you order an Ouzo, you will have to choose between 16 different Ouzo... They serve you a la Greek: once the meal is ready, the waiter - a very funny man - brings it. No starters, no main course, you just pick 7 or 8 dishes on the list, and they are brought to your table in a random order.
They taste real good, and I strongly recommend to taste the 8 mousses (home made Tzatziki, tarama, and one whose name I forgot, made with white truffle OMG).

We ate at the Philippe Meyers restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday. That was an excellent choice. We were lucky enough to taste the "asparagus festival". Marvellous.
All dishes were perfect and with a special asparagus aroma, We will definitely rremember the asparagus sorbet. The two waitress were really professional. They managed to change the dessert for a great sabayon

We went over there after Reading some comments here on Tripadvisor. We are not truly disappointed but not overwhelming excited either. The restaurant seems to be visited by locals in the first place. The choice is rather limited and moreover, one of the dishes mentioned on the blackboard was simply not available. The wine-list comes in the form of an electronic tablet (a nerd will probably love this) but small bottles (37,5 cl) are not available either. The dishes we had were well presented and okay but a bit on the pricy side. I am not sure we will come back here.

Cuisine sympa et naturelle. Mais rien de extraordinaire ni dans la proposition ni dans la présentation.
La intérêt réside plutôt dans le consepte festif écolo engagé et des soirées à thèmes proposées

We went for dinner with friends based on the excellent reviews on this forum. Ambiance was OK but nothing special. There was only one other table occupied, which was not a good sign. Philip Meyers at the other side of the street was much more busy ( and rightfully as we clearly prefer this restaurant). We ate a la carte. Service was very good and no complaints from this side. Food however, except for the Deserts, were nothing really special. I had the bass as an appetiser and wild boar for main dish. Both were nothing special. My wife had the salmon gravlax, which turned out not to be very fresh ( and an upset stomach as a consequence) and the tilapia. One friend had the same, and the other one had the pintade Polish style ( and which was very good). The pannacotta on the other hand was excellent. Bill came out not that cheap. Ŵe clearly prefer the competitor at the other side of the street and will not go back here!

We visited this restaurant on a Friday evening, and took one of the set menus. It was extremely good value for money; beautifully prepared and presented fresh food. It wasn't perfect - for example we had a parsley sauce which was a little too salty, but overall it was a very good dining experience. The wine was not overpriced, the service was friendly and efficient, and we will definitely return before too long!

Located in the centre of Nivelles and with grand views of the renovated Church, LOLI Ambiance Lounge offers the discerning diner a relaxing yet rewarding gastronomic experience. The name is suitably descriptive and staff are well organised and efficient, the tables not too close to be imposing and the food just what is expected from a professional french-speaking chef. Located at the front of the restaurant tables are of a tall design, but with correspondingly high chairs there is no discomfort. Other patrons were quiet and respectful - no noise or raucous behaviour and a non-smoking policy ensured a very pleasant interlude. Sadly though, the only disadvantage was that English was not spoken by the staff.
The menu is not vast, but contains a number of meat and fish dishes together with special "meals of the day" all served with a choice of potato options. I was relaibly informed that the restaurant is noted more for these options than anything else - but better to make a reservation and try for yourself.

Nice lunch with friends. Very busy restaurant with ample indoor Seating as well as a Terrace for sunny days. We were there on Belgium Fathers Day and it was packed which could explain why the service was a bit slow. I am told it is unusual but in any case, the quality of the food was worth it. Complimentary Pizza slices and olives to nibble on with our aperitif and then we opted for the 3 course meal with wines at 40 Euros per person. Choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 Deserts. I chose gambas in pesto sauce, then steak and finally, fresh strawberries. Although I was surprised that the steak came with spaghetti, everything was very tasty. As we didn't have any vegetarians in our party, I didn't check the A la carte menu for suitable dishes. Please be aware that vegetables are often scarce or non existent in French or Belgium restaurants. Pesto and pizzaiola sauces won't count for your "5 a day" but the food is a real treat.
