we spent a magnificient evening in this place. the view is awesome and the place very charming and romantic. the salad buffet is really cool and offers all you want. our lasagne and ravioli have been very tasty and well-prepared. the service is friendly and efficient. the price is clearly above local average but well-deserved for the great service. certainly a great choice for lovers but make sure to get a lake-view table when reserving.

We are located on the shores of Lago Maggiore, in Oggebbio. We are happy to offer you breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday from March to October. Here you can as well rent a motorboat without driving licence.

On a recent trip to Oggebbio we visited Hemingways twice - once for dinner and drinks and once for pre dinner drinks. It is a great little bar on the waterfront. Lovely staff - we believe it is a family run business. Drinks and cocktails great value for money and the food, although simple is very tasty. When the sun is shining there is no better place to be relaxing and enjoying the waterfront views. They do have a grassed waterfront area which we guess when the weather is more clement is open for business although not on the occasion when we were there. Views are stunning and overall a very pleasing experience! Thank you to all the staff for their great service!Thank you so much! We are glad that you enjoy your drinks by us in Oggebbio! Bar Elios is a small, quaint little bar up in Trarego by Lake Maggorie. The bar had exceptional colleagues who all speak English and are always pleasant. The bar serves a range of lovely Italian dishes including Pizza Margarita, a selection of Paniniâs, Caprise salads, lasagne and a large selection of desserts including Tiramasu and several hand made Gelato sundaes (some a real boozy too)!The location has a full bar (other than cider!) and is very reasonably priced for everything on its menu.The waitresses at the bar also advertise local parties and events (as Trarego is a small rural village) and are eager to invite you along for cocktails and karaoke when the events come around.I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the Northern Lake Maggorie area!!!

Whatever a restaurant can do wrongly, they did it:1. Most of the menu was not available, so we were almost all forced to order same "Valtellina" salad2. The bresaola was cut too thick and the quality was quite poor3. The Parmesan was fake4. Instead of give priority to the pastas for the kids, they were served half hour after our salads and one hour we ordered 5. Instead of apologizing, the owner started to justify with some other tables order arguments that nobody understood. And not even coming to our table, but loudly from the back of the bar.One further sad example of entrepreneurs that start a new job with no ideas about how to run such business and, most importantly, not having the humility to recognize when something goes wrong and instead (desperately) try to demonstrate that its all fine and the wrong one is the Customer.

Die Lage ist super, direkt am Strand. Mit Rollstuhl erreichbar. Die Häppchen sind fein. Die Karte bescheiden aber genügend. Leider war es nicht möglich für ein 4Järiges Kind eine kleine Portion Eis zu kaufen! Nur 1 Coup im Angebot der dann viel,zu gross war und nicht mit Mundgerechten Früchten. Hätte ein Sehr Gut erhalten wenn das möglich gewesen wäre. Wir kommen wieder.

Good menue, good quality of the food. Nice place to sit. The chief of staff who takes the orders should learn to be a little more friendly. His behavior did not make you feel overwhelmingly welcomed.
