Best sunset aperitivo in Liguria. On the Portofino mountain overlooking golfo paradiso and the riviera. Very friendly staff, very good cocktails and a breathtaking view. Simply Awesome! The best place to chill while the sun sets dancing on the Ligurian sea. Book because there are only few tables.

Loved the place. Right next to the old castle facing the sea. The service was very good and friendly. A very wide drinks menu. Tried local beers and loved them. They serve a complementary snacks platter which is quite nice and sumptuous. Definitely recommended for a fun evening.

Sabot serves excellent aperitivi from 5-9pm - generous portions of salami, cheese, olives, bread sticks and ham, all complementary with drinks in the evening. We'd just been in Portofino where the prices are so outrageous that we were thrilled to find Sabot serving equivalent drinks for less than half the price. The waiter was very friendly and refilled our food platter without asking. Great music there too.

Chose here for a special birthday meal and what a great choice.The menu seems perhaps short but there are specials as well and the meal has additional delicious accompaniments. The Sea Bass was excellent and the Guinea fowl beautifully cooked. A foie gras mouse arrived before our meal and a selection of mini deserts after. Everything was served impeccably and our wine glasses topped up suitably well!We were served by a variety of waiting staff but special thanks to Miguel who helped with a birthday surprise cake fountain (mini firework!!)The view from this restaurant is the best in Bella Portofino as it looks straight out and through the harbour.Definitely worth many visits

Al Faro will welcome you on the terrace of Portofino's lighthouse. The view is unbearable after a nice walk through the hill upon Portofino. The place is not very big, but there's enough capacity for 25-30 people. Very typical the Festivo di Portofino ginger-based, but the fresh cocktail wasn't that good. Fair prices, though.Al Faro is worth a visit!
