A very nice restaurant in a very beautiful location in the city of Lesa at Lago Maggiore.....the view from the restaurant is wonderful....i have been there twice and both times had a good meal and excellent service. The owner ,Roberto, was serving us and i must say that he was professional and trying to make clients as much comfortable as possible. The prices actually are not bad ...reasonable and the food is very good quiality,so i would recommend everyone who will read my comment to visit this restaurant .....you will not regret.

A unique italian experience on the shores of Lake Maggiore, from the moment you step in the Hostaria La Speranza you are transported into a luxurious setting with a great attention to details. Fabrizia the owner welcomes you warmly and guides you through the menu. Starters are second to none for variety and taste but the best dish we had was a wonderful Barbaresco Risotto.Highly recommended and one of the restaurants I will always book in when in the area.

Tucked away in little more than an alley means outdoor seats are not that special and aircon inside is very cool! Outstanding food however, so worth a visit. Booking essential

Off the beaten path outside of Stresa and Lago Maggiore this little hideaway is a really good restaurant serving food that is anything but typical Tourist Italian fare of pizza and pasta. Instead you get a menu with pheasant, apples and prunes or an obscure homemade pasta with veal, orange, pine nuts, and raisins. The décor is mountain farmhouse and on the chilly day we were there, a fire in fireplace was a nice touch. The coperto came with an aperitif of local wine and a small charcuterie. Service and hospitality was quite good while prices were actually a little below market for this level of creativity and culinary experience.

We had dinner at this place! Food and drinks were great. Unfortunately they forgot one of our pizzas.. but definitely I can recommend this place!

The weather continues to be fabulous. So a wonderful location with great views and with a good friend so the scene was set. Linguine Scoglio. A large plate, abundant with seafood. The house white made a good accompaniment. The staff, friendly and efficient. Looking forward to my next visit.

This is a great restaurant --the food is simple but very , very tasty. There is no menu but Vera will explain what they are cooking that day--3 or 4 1st courses, second courses and desserts . In the time we stayed nearby it was very convenient for us to eat here & to practice the Italian we had been learning. So we ate here 4 times and not once did any of the food disappoint . What's more , the price is very good too so it's excellent value. Oh, and Vera, who does the serving, is an absolutely lovely and helpful person too.Thoroughly recommended.

If you happen to be looking for a nice, quiet spot on the lake to have a good lunch or dinner, this is an excellent choice.Definitely NOT a tourist trap with usual stuff, this is how good food can be when you are in Italy. A very good balance between research and tradition, with unbelievable quality.Have been very lucky to be given a table facing directly the lake Maggiore, under the flourishing trees...looking down to the fishes and ducks swimming around.Good wine assortment.

We stopped by La Bruma a week ago for lunch. It was a beautiful day and the terrace was bustling; consequently, service was a bit slow, albeit professional enough. We sat next to a table that looked like it might be dirty, but had a tablecloth draped over it.I ordered entrecote, which was served lukewarm with roasted potatoes and was a little bit gristly. I got the sense that it sat for a few minutes before it reached the table, which isn't unexpected given how busy the waitress was. My husband had a salmon dish with cauliflower mayonnaise that he enjoyed, although he said it was a bit salty. Bread was brought out, but it didn't not appear to be homemade. We did enjoy a lovely bottle of wine and our desserts were excellent. I had a chocolate souffle and my husband had what appeared to be a deconstructed cheesecake in a glass.I noticed a couple of people having spaghetti and I kind of wished I'd ordered that. It looked very good. All in all, it wasn't a terrible experience, but there was some room for improvement. The inside of the restaurant is very nice, though.

Our kitchen offers high quality raw materials prepared by expert chefs, with hands that speak of their love for their work; our dishes are eaten first with the eyes, and then you can taste the palate. We propose the slow cooked that enhances the flavor of
I have been hearing about this place for a few months now so we have decided to test it out. We had family sunday lunch with small birthday celebration. The menu was excellent offering good variety of dishes. Not too many dishes as I get suspicious whether products are fresh. It has offered a diverse choice suitable to all tastes and the products were certainly fresh and carefully selected. The wine choice was also very good (pity I was designated driver but my husband has indulged). The highlight was maialino dish; very tender and juicy. Compliments to the chef.We had three/four course meal at very reasonable price. Superior quality, lovely interior and super nice service. It was our first visit but certainly not the last. We loved it :-)Thank you! Sorry for my bad english but i desire to answer you. I wait you and your family to taste our specialities that change every month and the special menu for the event like next woman's day or Easter or to taste our new Young proposal IL GIROPASTA
