Great views, lovely food, unique dining experience al fresco in front of two stunning churches. Great value and feels authentic. Would go back for dinner tomorrow if we were still there. 15 min walk uphill from main parts of village but well worth it. Best to book (was certainly required when we were there in July). The Pesto pasta was particularly good as well as the Ligurian wine they serve.

Was there with my daughter on July 29th 2016 and was happily surprised with this place. Good food and drinks, really excellent service from the waitress with great input to combination of food and drinks and just all in all a good experience! Go there - you will not be dissapointed! You may find a lot of crappy places in Pietre Ligure but this is definitely not one of them! Highly recommended

Sometimes you got lucky just to enjoy the simple pleasures of this life: wonderful surroundings, nice restaurant packed with lively people, generous hosts, and straight tasty food, nothing fancy, but just right, fresh and from the soul! If you are wise enough to see whatâs the real deal, come across this place. Enjoy and remember

We are Italian but we prefer writing in English to be more useful to a broader range of people. We learned about this restaurant from our host and also reading the reviews on trip advisor. Our expectations were fully met and probably it is the best place where we ate here in Pietra. The starters (I had the octopus) were perfectly executed and also my wife loved the Capon Magro (a typical dish of Liguria similar to cold fish cake); also the pasta with lobster as well as the Ravioli filled with fish were super tasty! Really a place to try in Pietra Ligure

Small restaurant in the medival village, excellent food, great atmosphere and verry moderate prices. In addition a good selection of wines, but not a snobbish place. You can have the choice to take a complete traditional italian menue with different wines, dessert, coffee and grappa or simply share some pizzas with the kids. The latest great addition is that you can have B&B in one of the medieval houses in the peaceful village overlooking the cost.

If you really appreciate the quality of the tasty food, this place will suit you. Although being not the cheapest restaurant around, you will definitely understand what lies behind the prices. We ordered gnochetti with octopus, focaccia with pumpkins and octopus with pumpkins and mozzarella. As the local specialty is the pumpkins I was pleasantly surprised by the tasty recipes. The service is very kind and professional. They also can take your money through a POS terminal. Having in mind the top location. I can understand the price level. In the menu you can find wine and beer at reasonably good price.

Italy has so many attractions, it is sometimes hard to be objective. This restaurant on the Gulf of Genoa certainly deserves a visit if you are in the area and not only for its outstanding cuisine. The location is priceless and breathtaking. A lovingly restored old flour mill, the terrace of the establishment overlooks the Gulf and you can even see the island of Gallinara from there. The inside of the restaurant is charming and cozy, should you happen here during bad weather. Situated in the tiny medieval section of the town of Borgio Verezzi, on the hillside, the access is not easy, but certainly worthwhile. Could be tricky for disabled, so call ahead to make sure. Staff is attentive and friendly, much of the vegetable produce is grown in their own garden and the owners take pride in their food. Trust their advice and the catch of the day and you will be coming back for more.

Casa Doc Pochi Tavoli Ambiente elegante ,ma a conduzione famigliare. Ristorante casa.Aperto tutto l'anno .Prenotazione obbligatoria. In estate il servizio si sposta all'esterno ,nel curatissimo patio e giardino ,ma il numero dei coperti rimane invariato p
Had the best Italian food ever! The authentic house where the owner/ chef and sommelier wife live is so charming. The sauces are amazing. The fish so fresh and presentation beautiful. We couldn't stop eating the freshly-baked bread and also ordered more primi piati after the secondi piati. This feels like home cooking with 5 stars. Paolo is a fantastic host with a warm smile and lots of great stories about his restaurant. Don't miss this gem!
