We had the classic menu with wine pairing for dinner, The price was very reasonable and the creativity for each course was outstanding. What made the pricing even more remarkable was an amuse bouche and petit fours (in addition to menu items) that more closely resembled food temples in Paris but at a "menu" price well under half that for a Michelin one star. Our impressions before the trip was that Como area would be overpriced and just basic Italian food, that may be true of Bellagio (which was a crowded mess) but not the rest of the area. Very highly recommend Materia if in the area, worth the trip.

Tipical italian osteria with salami,Parma ham, culatello from zibello, italian wine, cheese and much more. This place is perfect for aperitivo, lunch and dinner. Every day we offer the best food from Emilia Romagna and you can fell yourself in a classic ol
Amazing, rustic and authentic. Small, hole in the wall type establishment. Couple of hundred meters back from the waters edge and definitely not a tourist trap. All I can say is... phenomenal.... food, service and atmosphere. Lasagne was mind blowing!!! Best I have had during my two weeks between Milan and Come.

The Market Place is a cosy restaurant, with a an international ambiance and flavour. It was opened in 2011 when chef Davide Maci returned from an intense London experience. The Market Place cuisine is based on simple ingredients, searched for every day wi
I was disappointed in the the entire experience. I think they are trying too hard to be something they just are not. This is a restaurant with paying customers, they should make you feel welcome, but unfortunately, the seem somewhat stuck on themselves and the "experience", which was below par. They are all about the presentation, but the food was really just (below) average. The ambiance is sparse, minimalist, they offer just four different cocktails....that's right, you can only order one of the four that they offer. Wine list is extremely small, with a big emphasis on one particular winery. Prices on wine were not cheap, but fair. At the end of the night, I must say it was not anything I would ever recommend or go back to

Inside or outside seating in a superb location inside the walled historic area. We ordered a fabulous meat and cheese tray for an appetizer for one. Turned out to be huge. They recommended a 10 euro local wine that was unfiltered with no sulfites and better than a lot of $60+ bottles Iâve had in the US. We also ordered several pastas, a lasagna and dessert. All terrific and reasonably priced. There is a back room with âfamily tablesâ. (The families with children go to the back room). Great atmosphere, friendly wait staff, and is clearly a local hang out. Returned several times because the staff and food was so good.

I TIGLI in THEORIA is in a historical building in the very heart of the city of Como next to the lake and the Dome, dating back to the mid 15th century. The restraunt I Tigli in Theoria offers menus designed to ensure an experience of high contemporary cu
We opted for the 3-course meat menu, which came with additional ameuse geul and "in-between" courses. There was no fault in the food quality, but overall the experience was too heavy and not that creative. Fois gras terrine was fine, but followed by a poached egg and then by pasta stuffed with a veal filling was a challenge to keep the appetite going. The service was friendly, although the sommelier was difficult to hear (he needs to learn to project his voice more). I preferred our meal at the Marketplace in Como!

We visited the restaurant based in the trip advisor and Google reviews. The food scores reflect reality. The food was good and the prices reasonable. The personnel were very polite. There is an extensive list of salads (50) and of healthy Buddha Bowls.Due to not having a lot of space, there is an outdoor window house in order to accommodate more customers.Paid 45 euro for 2 pasta, 1 salad, soft drinks and water, which was reasonable.

Nel centro di Como dal 04 Maggio 2018 il nuovo ristorante di tradizione italiana con selezione Vegetariana | Vegana In cucina i migliori chef.
My husband and I came here on Monday night during our lake como visit. The restaurant has a very cute, family, cozy atmosphere. The other customers seem to be local rather than tourists. We ordered two pasta dishes and another secondi dish, and we LOVED their pasta. I LOVE pasta and I sometimes find pasta too salty, but not this one. It was al Dante and the sauce was amazing. It was actually one of the best that Iâve ever had. I am still thinking about it today. Also, the owner and the waiter (not sure if it was his son) was very kind and the service was great.Highly recommend this place!

Bar with terrace overlooking the lake, wonderful sunset and gorgeous drink, pizza and pasta... real stunning view!!!
We visited here for lunch having read the reviews and were not disappointed. We ended up staying there all afternoon, enjoying the view, the music and the very good local wine! The couple running this little restaurant were friendly and helpful, there was quite an extensive menu of pasta, paniniâs & salads. It is situated about a 15 minute easy walk from the funicular. We would definitely return as we canât think of any where better than to spend a sunny afternoon. Highly recommended
