Things to do in Arma di Taggia
We were in Arma di Taggia for 6 days and ate various meals at Tre Alberi for 3 of those days...that's how good it was. Come to find out, the new owners Paulo and Lara, just took over the restaurant in mid-April and they are doing a great job.We never had a bad meal in all our visits. The spaghetti vongole is the best I've had in many years of travelling to Italy. Other standouts were the fritto mista, the tagliata, the ravioli with borage (starflower), and the sesame encrusted tuna. Tiramisu is also some of the best I've had in years. Prices are VERY reasonable for the lovely view you enjoy and the food quality. The wine list is very good, well priced and focused on local wines. If all that isn't enough to make you go there immediately, the service alone is worth the trip. Marco and Davide, along with Paulo and Lara, make you feel welcome immediately and provided perfect service with a smile. They all seem to love working together....and it shows. Bravo to Tre Alberi!!!!
Last summer (2016) we stopped here regularly for some eats after a day at the beach. Three continuously ravenous boys and one gelato loving daughter loved the selection of food here, especially the generous hotdogs. This summer, disappointed to see our favourite 'dogs' were off the menu, replaced with typical Italian fare, panini, pizza etc. (Delicious, of course) This was a little different for a quick snack, but now, sadly same old-same old. Though good food and drinks, great location snd v reasonably priced, please please bring back some simple non-Italian snacks for the weary travellers! Let the dogs out!

Conad seems to control most of the La Riviera mall space (huge supermarket, pharmacy, pet store & cafeteria), and that's not a bad thing at all. The restaurant is sort of like a funky IKEA restaurant knock-off, but that is not a bad thing. Really inexpensive breakfast lunch and dinner items. Good specials. Fresh pizza. Gelato. In high season there's even a free shuttle from the mall to the beachside.
We had breakfast here every day during our stay in Taggia. It is child friendly, with convenient parking and just across the road from the beach. There is a wide choice of drinks and paninis. The guys are friendly and always make u feel welcome. Highly recommended!
I've visited this cafeteria many times and I've been always welcomed with a smile. The breakfast is great with excellent coffee and cappuccino. The service is very friendly and the owner very attentive. An outdoor sitting allow you to enjoy the beautiful summer time right in front of 'Villa Boselli garden' in the city centre. Few steps far from the beach is a great meeting point for a coffee or a nice drink with friends.

Met my relatives who travelled from San Remo here and we had a lovely time. The cocktails are superb and they also provide little 'Italian tapas' to accompany which were very tasty. Made the best Negroni Sbaglia I had in Italy too! Definitely will go back again. Arma is a lovely small town and this is an asset to it.

I've been to Bussana Vecchia multiple times. the atmosphere is great but the food is usually so so. La Casaccia offers excellent food but only for dinner, the Osteria used to have good food but became mediocre in the past years (and often closed), Apriti Sesamo is ... well let's say that they could use a cook in that place (and a price reduction).Amidst all of this is the Piazetta Golosa. Run by two family teams from Bussana Nuova, it is packed from early in the morning until closing time at about 8 pm for good reasons. Their coffee is great, their pies are home made (delicious strudel), the bruschetta's awesome and they are serve excellent piadine's. The local villagers start there with breakfast and end with an aperitivo, which says enough about the quality is this new place. If they only served dinner... but the Casaccia is nearby.
