We just returned from a 3 night stay in Carovigno spending our days seeing the sites of Puglia. Carovigno is a great and central place for doing exactly this. We had the place to ourselves - check out the pictures on their website - its a mini-mansion! Breakfast was offered at John Pierre's bistrot a short distance away and that was very good indeed. Carovigno, in itself is a small town with just a few dining options but after long days of seeing Ostruni, Locorotondo, Lecce, Alberobello, Monopoli and Polignana, settling in for pasta and a beer on the main piazza was great. For the money, this pace can't be beat!!

A pleasant and comfortable place to stay. Beautiful location to visit the Salento. Good breakfast and lovely pool in the middle of a lush and tidy garden. A place to recommend to everyone. The room was a little narrow but equipped with every comfort. If we return to Salento we will stay here again.

Panoramic Relais in Sirolo countryside, near the sea, romantico relais
Really relaxing and comfortable place. A few kilometres outside Sirolo with beautiful views across the surrounding countryside. The rooms are well appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable. There is a lovely and peaceful swimming pool which we relaxed by. Anna Maria, the owner, was very sweet and welcoming.

We just stayed here for the weekend and we were impressed upon arrival that the check in was contactless, each room has a large hand sanitizer outside, and the bathroom was equipped with brand new toiletries and items all individually packaged. We really felt that they did very well in respecting covid measures. The room itself was lovely and clean and the management loaned us their very cute bicycles for the day so that we could cycle the coast road to Pescara. A very pleasant stay!

Welcome at In Canto sul poggio B&B ! When you'll arrive at "Podere in Canto sul poggio", you will be enchanted by the road SS68 with captivating hills. You will see here and there beautiful Tuscan houses perched on the top of the hills, in a dreaming setting. Then, traveling this way, you will catch sight of the Monte Voltraio, unique and majestic. In front of it, a little white road goes up on a hill and welcomes you at In canto sul poggio: Welcome Home! This antic rock sheepfold, with typical covers, wonderful and romantic arcades, was restructured like a real Tuscany house: 3 bedrooms were created and refitted for your own pleasure. There, you will be able to admire very beautiful centenary vaults, and charming trough from the very first life of this house. From the house, you will discover a 360 degree landscape: On the south side, one of the most beautiful Tuscan landscape of the Cecina Val, and on the nord side, the Mont Voltraio raised among the hills. On its left, Volterra, antic and fascinating city of Tuscany. (And Set of the saga Twilight a few years ago!). If you're looking for serenity, peace of mind and rest, come and revitalize yourself. The landscapes will make a print on your soul for life, and if you don't know Tuscany, you'll never forget it!
I think this was our absolute favorite part of our Italian vacation. Breathtaking views, clean, comfortable and cozy room, and fantastic breakfast. The host Myriam was the icing on the cake. I will say- this is a place you do't want to get home too late to- the roads in the area are curvy and dark. That is not a downside, it just means you can spend more time there, Wonderful wonderful wonderful!
