Make sure you have a reservation to avoid disappointment. We had a lovely bottle of local white wine, followed by a selection of delicious brushetta. Unfortunately after three plates if brushetta we were too full to have anything else. Great service and a brilliant people watching spot.
Excellent wine ban in the heart of the city, with a beautiful terrace! Great selections of wines and spirits, plus tapas and chips!Recommended also for coffee during the day

We were recommended to try this by our accommodation host and were so glad we visited. The cafe is on the main Forum square - you can recognise it by the red seats. There are a lot of menus, but look for the small beige one with the local snacks and wine. We had an Istriana tasting plate, local olive oils and bread, the wine testing selection and local dessert wine/liquer. Absolutely delicious and it was great to drink the very local wines, all carefully explained by the owner. If you are interested in trying Istrian food and drinks then ignore the touristy restaurants nearby and check out this gem of wine bar. We spent a wonderful evening enjoying the square and the wonderful tastes.
