Dont go there. Waiter is rude / arogant, so the dinner was completely ruined due to this. Food is average. The waiter didnt bring us the rest of money - bill was 43 EUR and we gave him 50 EUR - he came back after payment only with free rakija. But the place itself is very nice. I work in service field too and if I was owner of this place I would kick out this arogant bald hair waiter whi ruined our romantic evening.Dear guest,we are very sorry for the bad experience You had in our place. Unfortunately, You didn't call manager or owner that could solve the problem with the waiter. We are trying continuosly to improve our service, sometimes the bad day happen. Please, feel free to give us a second chance next time Youl'be in our region.La Parenzana Team

The tavern Dolina, in the small Istrian village Gradinje, near mythical Motovun, is an ideal place to enjoy a home-cooked Istrian cuisine, unspoiled nature and perfect for an escape from the everyday bustle, noise and stress. It is only a kilometer from t
This family owned, traditional Istrian restaurant is located near the river Mirna valley, surrounded by beautiful greenery. They offer typical Istrian meals (fuži, njoki, pljukanci pasta... with mushrooms, wild board, homemade sausages) and they sure know how to make them exquisite and the same goes for the homegrown tomato salad! The terrace is small so in the summer make sure to make a reservation. The staff is very warm but can be a bit too pushy, checking too often whether everything is ok.

We visit this place for late lunch. When we entered the place was full, but they find us a small free table. Staff is very polite and friendly. The food was nice, specially home made pasta and we also like seafood salad and small stuffed chili with anchovy. They definitely can improve open red wine.

Zardin is in the hills above Porec. Lots of local ingredients.....truffles, olive oil, potatoes. Loves patio, excellent food. Lovely house wine from a nearby winery. Best Croatian wine of the trip. Nice views down to the Adriatic. Well worth a detour.

Had a lovely welcome dinner here before a walking holiday at the end of August. Itâs a great terrace spot with amazing views and very good service from an attentive but on obtrusive waiter who spoke excellent English. We all had homemade pasta : two with truffles and one with sardines which was amazing washed down with the house (tap) wine which was surprisingly good ! We all had local desserts afterwards to round off a nice evening then out through the shop.

We had an amazing night at Konoba Morgan, watching the sunset over the local vineyards was unforgettable! The staff were lovely and very attentive! We had steak tartare, beef carpaccio and pork in bread to start (which we heard was a local delicacy) and they were all lovely!! For main some had wild boar, and others had ox cheek with pumpkin gnocchi, which we would definitely recommend! The wine was local which made the whole meal extremely reasonable for the service and food that we received!

We wanted to taste real Istrian cuisine, so we searched agritourism places nearly... MekiÅ¡i village, niceplace por family with kids, beautiful weather, restaurant with terrace with olive trees, seems nice. It was holiday 1. May, so it was full, but nice atmosphere ...Service was terribly . The waiter didnât notice us for a while, when he saw us finally he didnât want to bring menu?! He was hurry and we agreed to his recommendation for some istrian food. Domestic wine malvazija was nice, food was delicious, prices are regularly for that kind of place... paying in kuna -cash only, no card.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience with their seafood, the octopus in the salad that we ordered was cheewy, warm, terrible taste and most deffinitely not fresh. For the sake of our health we didnât eat it. Whatâs worse, when we told them about it they didnât react, nor appollogise or reimburse us for the dish, making the visit of this restaurant an unpleasant experience. However the main dish that we ordered was fine.

Nice position in the middle of lovely Groznjan. We ordered 2 meat and sausage plates and a steak with asparagus sauce. All nicely done although a bit too much sauce with the steak. Evetything nicely cooked and presented. Good value for money, waiter very helpful and friendly.

The restaurant is located in the old center of Groznjan, historic location. They have tables inside or outside. They offer various local dishes as typical Istrian homemade pasta with truffles, ham, cheese, vegetable soup, meat, etc. The portions are normal size, the waiter was very nice and the place is dog friendly. We had homemade pasta with truffles, I missed more real, fresh truffles grated on top of the pasta.
