I usually search for mid range, but this was edging towards cordon bleu, and the price was reflected as such. Food was very good and nicely presented, although the menu was a little limited. We sat in the the "garden", basically an outside area to the side under an awning. Very nice setting, there were a couple of families sitting inside, but it was quite quiet (although it was early evening). The staff were very nice and professional.Recommended.

The Incognito first opened its doors to patrons in 1974. The name Incognito as it suggests 'unknown' derives from the fact that qawra was almost in existent at the time .the rest is history, all Malta knows Incognito's ! The venue consists of two main are
Love the personal care of the owner. I had the rabbit stew which was delicious and my friend had the steak and the owner noticed something wasn't right and he caught it and corrected it. He also made sure we wouldn't be bothered by smoke outside and before we left he shared some of his spices with me. I make rabbit myself so I appreciated it. Those special moments mean so much.

Dine in truly romantic surroundings beneath the flowering Oleander tree in the vine-clustered courtyard during the summer, and by candle-light and an open log fireplace that keeps the restaurant warm during the winter months. The Medina presents a selecte
My pilgrimage to Malta would never be the same without my date at this place. An evening stroll through the gently lit streets of this beautiful mini-city followed by walking into this historical restaurant, glass roofed, intimate and charming. The menu is well stocked with local specialities of course including rabbit and extensive local wine list. I had a light dinner as it was my last night in the country. Only foody criticism I should offer is the fruit gels in the ice cream...hmmm(?) All was super although getting the right member of staff to serve you is important otherwise its a little agitating....I'll be back, as someone slightly more famous than I once said......Thank you for taking your time to post a review on TripAdvisorWe are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your last night in Malta in our restaurant!Your kind words have been warmly received and we hope to have the pleasure of seeing you again very soon! Many thanks and kind regards.

What can I say. This has to be one of the best meals we have ever had. We only discovered this restaurant as we got off the bus at the wrong stop but what a surprise. We shared a starter - jackfish - which was ample for 2 of us, and then both chose beef cheeks for mains. We are still salivating at the memory. It was just phenomenal! Shared a dessert which was also delicious. Lovely ambience and friendly staff combined with amazing food. Our only disappointment was that we didn't have time to visit again before we left as we were only visiting Malta for a short break. If we return this will be our first port of call.

Set in a traditional Maltese character Town House, close to Mosta Dome, this restaurant has enormous charm. Offering a truly eclectic range of International cuisine by an internationally experienced Maltese chef. Family owned and run you will be personally
While being on holiday, we always try to find an extraordinary venue for dinner. So this year we discovered The Lord Nelson Restaurant in Mosta. We call this a hidden gem! Located a few minutes from the Mosta Dome - you can literaly see the Dome from your table in the restaurant - this restaurant houses in an old charming townvouse with a lot of history. We booked a table and at our arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome. Of course this restaurant is not on a âhot spotâ location but.... once inside one discovers a superb, elegant and very nice fine dining restaurant. Talking about fine dining we went for the tasting menu with pairing wines and the whole menu including wines exceeded our expectations by far!!!! Every dish was a through masterpiece not only for the taste but also the eyes! We let the head chef choose for the âsurpriseâ tasting menu ... 3 starters, 2 mains and a dessert... we can only say that this was a real culinary evening with fine dining at its best!! Thank you chef Vella and your team, thanks for the staff, he was attentive, professional and friendly and last but not least thanks to the patron Mr Etienne for running such an excellent restaurant! We recommend everyone who has the chance to have dinner in Mosta to go this âhidden gemâ! Regards from Belgium - Peter

We had an event here and it was perfect. The restaurant itself is really lovely but the grotto itself has the "wow" factor and our guests were super impressed. The staff were fantastic and made us all feel comfortable. The drinks and canapes were great. I can't speak highly enough of this place! We will be back - highly recommended.Dear Hira, Many thanks for such great feedback. It was a great pleasure for us hosting your event. We look forward to welcoming you again soon enough. Whether throughout the summer season or when the weather turns colder, a visit to Munchies is a wonderful experience where good food, excellent service and the spectacular surroundings of Golden Bay remain the stuff dreams are made of...
Following an afternoon of hiking around some of the beaches in the area I stopped here just after sunset for some dinner. I went for the pulled pork burger followed by some ice cream - it was excellent. Reasonable prices, friendly service, great food - would definitely recommend.

Open for Dinner. Commando is a restaurant and wine bar housed within a 300-year old stone building that has been the workplace of our forefathers for over 80 years. Chef Damian Ciappara draws inspiration from his surroundings, using fresh local ingredient
We sat outside on a warm late September evening where we ate great food just off a beautiful little square in Mellieha village. Our group spent most of the evening dining at the restaurant, so service speed was not important to us. All the staff were friendly and the food quality excellent. Top end pricing, however you do get what you pay for! Recommended and I will return next time Iâm in Malta.5* recommendation.

We booked a table as a large group and despite being late the table was ready for us and we were welcomed. The guys shared the meat platter (with potatoes and veggies) and the rest of us shred cheese and meat platters. All really great and extra bread brought on request as the children loved it with the olive oil.The primitivo wine was excellent. The children also had date pastries and a chocolate cake and said they were great.Relaxed atmosphere, and a friendly warm host.We look forward to seeing you next year.
