The recently refurbished restaurant is situated in the heart of Valletta under the new parliament plaza. Today, under the leadership of Chef Steve Mamo they lead their dynamic team in providing dishes with a modern and classical touch with all flavours st
We were so thankful to go to Salvino's as part of our trip. We ate in a few different places, but none were as good as Salvino's, by far. The keyword here is fresh. They strive to cook only with fresh ingredients and this you can absolutely taste on their meals. For example, even the fried calamari was one of the best we ever had in our lives, which is a dish you can't tweak in too many ways. For the main course, we had the daily special, which was also absolutely delicious. When looking at the service, it was very friendly and easygoing. We really appreciated the more laid-back style, while being fully focused on covering all of our needs. The decoration is the only element which is a bit more simple/classic (nothing extra), but meh, with everything else you get, this is absolutely no problem. Especially since the restaurant is in a prime location already. So don't be one of the many people that got sent away while trying to get a table - reserve a place, come and enjoy :)

Great staff, very friendly, happy and helpful - 10 out of 10. Thatâs where it ends. Pasta with sword fish not too bad, quite flavoursome but only average , definitely not more than a 3 star. Grilled fish platter, well for 30 euros I was expecting something quite special. Tuna slightly over cooked, sword fish definitely over cooked, the 2 large prawns and sea bream were moist and quite tasty, salmon boring. I feel bad because the staff were so lovely but Noooo, I wonât be back and would not recommend, donât believe everything you read on trip advisor

I found this place on Google looking for somewhere to eat prior to going to the Hypogeum. I used Messenger a couple of times to contact them to ensure they were open for Tuesday lunch (very quick responses) and even made a booking (completely unnecessary as it happened)!Itâs a genuine family run business. The owner speaks only Italian but we managed very well. After being told that the sea bream was a fillet it turned out to be a whole fish so our lunch took quite a while to prepare. I had pasta with the most delicious sauce of rich passata, anchovy paste, garlic, raisins and pine nuts. Lots of sauce so the very kind owner provided me with a spotlessly clean tea towel to use as a bib! Much appreciated and very necessary. With water, a glass of house white and a local beer the bill came in at under â¬30 (we would have paid year much for the fish in St Julianâs!Recommended if youâre in the Paola area.

The chain makes really good pizza, but for sure that this one has the worst service in Malta. The pizzas always come wrong, we call making the order and still have to wait so they can make another pizza... Awful! The worst service Iâve seen. We never going to eat there againPlease accept our apologies for the above. Would you be so kind as to get in touch with us directly in [email protected] (attention Skyparks) to give us more details as we would like to look into this further to make sure it does not happen again. Our sincere apologies once again.Martin

T'Anna Mari Restaurant is situated in Marsaxlokk, in the South of Malta. Here you can enjoy the best Mediterranean dishes created by Salvatore.
The best restaurant in Marsaxlokk. (2 people dining, aprx. 19:15)Service was truly excellent, friendly, but very professional. We both would recommend to book a table beforehand or be early in the evening when the restaurant opens. We had 2 cocktails, bottle of wine, two mains and dessert with coffee. Price was below what we expected, and quality of each food was first class. We would come back even for the bread, never had better, a big thank you to the whole restaurant, hopefully we will come and see you again!

We came here based on a localâs recommendation and it was very good. We are outside on the terrace overlooking the port and the market. Upon the owners recommendation I took the king prawns freshly caught. It was delicious. Simple but delicious. We had the octopus tartare and it was very fresh and delicious as well. Grilled calamari was well cooked , melting in our mouth and seasoned to perfection. I would have given you a 5* review but the fact that the lobster was alive in a see trough box in front of me during my lunch, disturbed me. I am obviously not vegan but it was disturbing to have that poor little lobster suffer in front me. I donât want to see that while I have lunch. Also his legs were sticking out of the box and everything was going through it and Iâm sure it hurt him. I observed the reaction of the people walking by and a lot of them had the same reaction as me. Itâs maybe better to keep it behind closed doors instead of showing it off.
