Attard (Maltese: Ħ'Attard) is a town in the Central Region of Malta. Together with Balzan and Lija it forms part of "the Three Villages" and has been inhabited since the Classical Period. It has a population of 10,650 as of March 2014. Attard's traditional Latin motto is Florigera rosis halo ("I perfume the air with my blossoms") due to its many flower gardens and citrus orchards. Attard is abundant with public gardens, including ornamental trees and flowers, maintained by the Local Council. The inhabitants of Attard are known as saraċini.

Tucked away in a quiet area. Nicely decorated inside, run by a friendly husband and wife team. The food was interesting, combining Indian, Italian and Chinese. The sharing platter was a mixture of several cuisines, not really sure how spring rolls fit in. Puddings were all shop bought, not home made. Thank you for taking the time to review The Old Charm.We are happy you like the place, and the friendly atmosphere, we always aim to make it a welcoming place for people to relax and enjoy drinks, and food without all the fuss of a formal restaurant feel, as we are ultimately a Winebar.We are very impressed that you have quite clearly understood our concept, of offering a mixture of cuisines which is obviously noticeable in the platters we offer. We aim to provide something a little different in Naxxar. We also offer a small selection of Indian food, influenced by family recipes, and introduce spices into some of our Mediterranean dishes to add something slightly unusual but in a good way we hope.You also mentioned the puddings, you are right they are not made in-house, however they are carefully selected by us from a local bakery, and we can assure you that they are not sold in shops. We went on a weekend. The staff reserved a parking for us, which was very convenient since it is nearly at the heart of St Julians. The staff was so informative and friendly. One of them also told us the way they eat what we ordered back in India.The food was amazing.The only -ve point was that in the room we were, there was no AC. 2 fans were plugged, however I think it will be an issue if one goes in the summer peak. However, the main dining room is equipped with the AC.Thanks for your positive comments. Glad you enjoyed our authetic Indian food, and the service we provide. I can confirm that the main restuarant area is eqquiped with AC's, while we have fans in the small room. Till now, we have decided to keep it this way as we do get clients that do not want to stay under the AC's and prefer fans. Always trying our best to keep all clients happy and satisfied!!

Dropped in here following the good rating here on Tripadvisor, and well deserved the rating is too - so much so we ended up here for 4 night of our week in Malta!!Firstly the food - one of the best curries we have ever had, faultless and consistent.Staff, could not be better - courteous, prompt friendly, funny, such a delight to dine here.We will definitley return to this little gem on our next visit to Malta,... thankyou ALL at the Emperor of India!!WOW!
