Castelletti Restaurant is housed within a 400 year old Palazzo and offers something for the palates of all good food lovers. It offers a blend of contemporary Mediterranean cuisine with French influences while making use of the best Maltese produce in a c
A group of friends decided to go to Castelletti Restaurant expecting great food, as a main I ordered a cassoulet, the description on the menu sounded promising and unusual , a Cassoulet of quail with black beans, what I was served did not resemble a cassoulet, yes the sausage was there, so were the quail and the beans but there is where it ended. It was a stew with barely cooked black beans, two pan fried boneless quails and sausage in a runny gravy with potatoes and vegetables that were boiled separately. Honestly I never heard of potatoes in a cassoulet. A cassoulet is baked, with confit quail or duck thickened with the beans and served together with a crust that forms when it is baked. Check out what a cassoulet is before describing your dish as a cassoulet.Dear Mr. Borg Barthet,There are indeed various ways of cooking the cassoulet and what you are describing is only one of them and we are disappointed that you were not entirely satisfied. That said please note that we do have in place a policy of 'Fully satisfied or Reimbursed'. That is, if after speaking to our staff we still can't fix it, you will not have to pay for it.Please do let us know in advance next time round and we will take prompt action.

This is how a dining experience should be. Excellent surroundings and ambience with top notch food and service. The place is a little hard to find up a small alley but it is so worth it. Can't wait to try the new menu. We're so glad you enjoyed the Vinaccia experience. Thanks a lot for your custom. We look forward to welcoming you again.Mario & Marco
