Marsaxlokk (Maltese pronunciation: [marsaʃˈlɔk]) is a traditional fishing village in the South Eastern Region of Malta, with a population of 3,534 as of March 2014. We had a wonderful meal here when we visited Marsaxlokk recently. We were looking for a fresh fish restaurant and quickly realised that there's a lot of choice! We chose well and were not disappointed with Ta' Mattew. The restaurant is well appointed and attractive. The portions of food (mussels and sea bream) were generous and very delicious and we were served well by the waitress. I would highly recommend that you eat here.

A family run restaurant for the past 45 years proudly being the same owners for the last 36. One may choose to dine indoors or outdoors. Our menu varies from fish dishes to shellfish, octopus and calamari dishes, from meat dishes such as fillet and ribeye
Our second time visiting Hunters Tower. Service was extremely friendly and the food was...splendid. Everything was super delicious, however the pasta there was the BEST I had. Always fresh fish, the owner even showed me how to filet a whole fish! Restaurant itself is just beautiful. Can't recommend it enough! Definitely worth a visit. Ohh, we even got offered a Limoncello:)

Located in a quiet area on the port of Marsaxlokk, Terrone offers a variety of local and freshly prepared dishes. Terrone is the ideal restaurant to enjoy a quiet meal with the family, or to host a productive business lunch. Paying attention to detail, th
Situated a little further away from the hustle and bustle of Marsaxlokk, Terrone at 1 Wilga Street, is a real gem that we were lucky to stumble upon. We were really looking for the public loos at the time but having been. why not indeed. We hadnât booked but, if you to have a drink while youâre waiting, so with did just that, 15 minutes later who were shown to the table. We started with scallopâs with sandfire were cooked just right, and delicious. For mains I went with the seabass was excellent, I stayed on the beer with a pint of Cisk or two.Not only was the food excellent the owner was so nice and recommended great options to eat. The service was perfect! I highly recommend this restaurant. Overall a highly pleasurable experience, served and executed by locals with that exceptional (and rare) Maltese hospitality flare.

T'Anna Mari Restaurant is situated in Marsaxlokk, in the South of Malta. Here you can enjoy the best Mediterranean dishes created by Salvatore.
The best restaurant in Marsaxlokk. (2 people dining, aprx. 19:15)Service was truly excellent, friendly, but very professional. We both would recommend to book a table beforehand or be early in the evening when the restaurant opens. We had 2 cocktails, bottle of wine, two mains and dessert with coffee. Price was below what we expected, and quality of each food was first class. We would come back even for the bread, never had better, a big thank you to the whole restaurant, hopefully we will come and see you again!

We popped in for lunch (as hopped off the sightseeing bus) and it was lovely.Be warned there are no vegetarian options so itâs limiting if you are veggie. The fish we had was brilliant. Cooked so well and the wine was really good.A pleasant lunch. We popped in near the end of service (around 3pm) and it was stillFairly busy.

We came here based on a localâs recommendation and it was very good. We are outside on the terrace overlooking the port and the market. Upon the owners recommendation I took the king prawns freshly caught. It was delicious. Simple but delicious. We had the octopus tartare and it was very fresh and delicious as well. Grilled calamari was well cooked , melting in our mouth and seasoned to perfection. I would have given you a 5* review but the fact that the lobster was alive in a see trough box in front of me during my lunch, disturbed me. I am obviously not vegan but it was disturbing to have that poor little lobster suffer in front me. I donât want to see that while I have lunch. Also his legs were sticking out of the box and everything was going through it and Iâm sure it hurt him. I observed the reaction of the people walking by and a lot of them had the same reaction as me. Itâs maybe better to keep it behind closed doors instead of showing it off.

Set menu, wonderful! Everything so nice and fresh. Make a reservation 3 weeks before you want to come! This place is a local favorite because it is so good and so authentic, so you need to reserve a table. Victor himself, the chef, will come out and chat with you about the entrees he has that day. He is really dedicated to the craft, and loves serving excellent food.

Newly Opened Restaurant in the south of Malta, offering mouthwatering dishes. We offer Pizza, Pasta, Grill and Seafood
Chose this restaurant because of the reviews on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. The food was first-rate. We had the seabass and the calamari. Both were fresh and very appetizing. For desert I wanted my friends to taste Maltese 'mqaret' and, although they were not on the menu on that day, the chef still prepared them for us and they were delicious

Visited La Reggia with my wife who has a wheat allergy. Staff were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. All of the food was fresh and delicious and I would definitely recommend a visit while in Marsaxlokk.Location on the quayside is excellent and perfect place to chill outside. Be careful not to miss it though. We walked past as at first glance, the outside tables look like they are part of the larger pizzeria next door. The restaurant sign isn't as eye catching either. If you eat in one place in Marsaxlokk you won't be disappointed trying this place.
