We came here based on a localâs recommendation and it was very good. We are outside on the terrace overlooking the port and the market. Upon the owners recommendation I took the king prawns freshly caught. It was delicious. Simple but delicious. We had the octopus tartare and it was very fresh and delicious as well. Grilled calamari was well cooked , melting in our mouth and seasoned to perfection. I would have given you a 5* review but the fact that the lobster was alive in a see trough box in front of me during my lunch, disturbed me. I am obviously not vegan but it was disturbing to have that poor little lobster suffer in front me. I donât want to see that while I have lunch. Also his legs were sticking out of the box and everything was going through it and Iâm sure it hurt him. I observed the reaction of the people walking by and a lot of them had the same reaction as me. Itâs maybe better to keep it behind closed doors instead of showing it off.

We popped in for lunch (as hopped off the sightseeing bus) and it was lovely.Be warned there are no vegetarian options so itâs limiting if you are veggie. The fish we had was brilliant. Cooked so well and the wine was really good.A pleasant lunch. We popped in near the end of service (around 3pm) and it was stillFairly busy.

Newly Opened Restaurant in the south of Malta, offering mouthwatering dishes. We offer Pizza, Pasta, Grill and Seafood
Chose this restaurant because of the reviews on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. The food was first-rate. We had the seabass and the calamari. Both were fresh and very appetizing. For desert I wanted my friends to taste Maltese 'mqaret' and, although they were not on the menu on that day, the chef still prepared them for us and they were delicious

Grabiel is a family run business. Vast menu although we are well known by Maltese locals for our fresh fish and seafood specialities. Grabiel is separated in two parts; the main restaurant that is open for lunch and dinner, as well as the terrazza that is

Ta' Victor restaurant is situated in the quaint fishing village of Marsaxlokk in the South of Malta. Chef/Patron Victor has a passion for traditional Maltese food and offers a menu that includes all the usual suspects when it comes to typical local cuisin
Set menu, wonderful! Everything so nice and fresh. Make a reservation 3 weeks before you want to come! This place is a local favorite because it is so good and so authentic, so you need to reserve a table. Victor himself, the chef, will come out and chat with you about the entrees he has that day. He is really dedicated to the craft, and loves serving excellent food.

Visited La Reggia with my wife who has a wheat allergy. Staff were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. All of the food was fresh and delicious and I would definitely recommend a visit while in Marsaxlokk.Location on the quayside is excellent and perfect place to chill outside. Be careful not to miss it though. We walked past as at first glance, the outside tables look like they are part of the larger pizzeria next door. The restaurant sign isn't as eye catching either. If you eat in one place in Marsaxlokk you won't be disappointed trying this place.

If you are looking for a mouth-watering pizza on the island look no further. This restaurant has a wood oven pizza and is manned by three Neapolitan pizzaiolo. The restrooms were found spotlessly clean even on a busy Friday evening.I noticed that the owner is present on-site to ensure that quality and standards remain high at all times.I would certainly recommend Taninu Bistro to my friends and would visit again soon in the near future.

We had a good coffee here and returned for lunch.Lampuki was on the menu apparently the fish migrates between Sicily and Malta from the end of August until December and is very popular in Malta,it is listed as being like Dorado.as I have seen it in several restaurants I thought I would try it.The chef made a great job but I have to say the flavour was not to my taste and I would let it swim by unimpeded on its migration, however,I am in the minority.I am glad I tasted it but for me it was far more oily than Dorado. My partner enjoyed his Maltese burger ,the Italian white wine was very good as was the chocolate fondant with icecream .Service is very friendly and relaxed and we had a lovely leisurely lunch in the sunshine. The owner/chef takes pride in the food which is fresh with good ingredients. We will definitely return ,I will try a different fish next time.

Lovely staff serving excellent food right on the roadside at the harbour. Ate here twice but decided not to return because the tables are close together and it is impossible to avoid the smoke from people at other tables. I appreciate this is the norm in countries where it is not yet socially unacceptable to smoke near people who are eating but it was particularly pronounced.

In operation for more than 25 years. Specialises in fish dishes using freshly caught Mediterranean fish. Situated opposite the old National Swimming Pool in Marsascala, Malta.
The staff were very accommodating, taking a large group of us with very little warning. Each dish was incredibly tasty and there was barely any waiting time. The atmosphere was so friendly and the waiters went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy! Will definitely be visiting again soon.
