Reviews on Pizza food in Mdina, Island of Malta, Malta. Graceful Mdina, the stately town known as the Silent City, holds court from the southwest corner of the captivating island of Malta. The commanding medieval Old City perches on its rocky promontory, its fortified bastions looming above the azure waters of the Mediterranean. This enchanting Maltese city offers a warren of narrow streets, populated by churches, palaces and gracious houses, punctuated by large squares and delightfully free of cars in its UNESCO-designated ancient quarters.

This place is great. It was recommended to us by our hotel and didnât disappoint. The menu has lots of choice including an utterly fantastic cheeseburger wrap. My hubby had a steak and it was cooked perfectly. Thereâs a very good wine list and a good range of beers/spirits. We had cherry ice cream for dessert and it was superb. The staff are lovely and the prices are very reasonable. Iâll definitely be back

We were advised to go for a Maltese dinner to Dine West and we have discovered a truly fabulous restaurant! And before we start the review congratulations with the 5th certificate of excellence!!!This restaurant lies in the street - nearly in the center of Mgarr where busroutes 44 and 101 pass every hour! Very easy! The restaurant has a good atmosphere, brings live coverage of sports events and has a nice wine cellar with open view.At our arrival we were greeted by the lady of the house and we got a warm welcome. Even though there was a large group of locals the service was impeccable! We ordered the local snails as a starter - ohh they were so good prepared within a redwine sauce- and for main we went for the lamb and thyme ravioli and a full rack of BBQ spare rib! The dishes were absolutely delicious and the size was more than enough! Compliments for the chef and his team in the kitchen, compliments for the staff in the restaurant while giving a perfect service and congrats with your certificate! You all deserve it!!! Many thanks for letting us being part of a true Maltese evening! Regards from Belgium - Peter

We were a group of four and ordered 4 dishes - rack of ribs, fish and two pasta dishes. All were expertly cooked and with very friendly service and advice from the waiter. For dessert the cook came out with a selection tray which he said were all home made. We tried the baileys mousse which was excellent. He also gave us a complementary glass cherry wine with the coffee. The prices are very reasonable, came to just over â¬100 for 4 people. The restaurant is unassuming and unpretentious, but friendly and with genuinely good food and excellent value for money. The only problem we had was car parking. This was our third visit and there will be many more for sure.

Antica Osteria Al Convento , Cafe and Pizzeria is located in a charming medieval village in a old Carmelite convent.
Found this little place to eat today.Very nice staff and food was quite nice.My young son was feeling a little faint due to a medical condition we told the waiter he needed something to eat ASAP, the waiter had hot bread and a drink on the table for my son and the rest of our party in less than a couple of minutes. We left very happy leaving behind our trade mark of a little Koala along with a tip for our waiter for great service.Around a table there is only one family.we have become great friends with the koala.tnx so muchAl Convento Mdina Malta

The best meal we have had in our week in Malta/Gozo. I had the paccheti pasta dish and my fiancé had the pizza equivalent with Maltese sausage and both were fantastic. Really great service and lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed the house wine too. Thank you (sorry about the mess- he dropped the oil and I dropped the Parmesan!) xThank you for taking your time to post a review on TripAdvisorWe are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your experience in our restaurant! Your kind words have been warmly received and we hope to have the pleasure of seeing you again very soon! Many thanks and kind regards.

Grape vine covered courtyards, home grown herbs, multi coloured lights, and a myriad of wind chimes give a flirtatious wink of what's to come. You feel like a special guest in your best friend's home. If you have visited Coogi's before then you surely don
Shuffled across this gem whilst visiting Mdina. Lovely little courtyard cafe with food to match. We had three starters and plate of chips. Great lunch.

This restaurant is in a beautiful building, and was recommended to us by a woman selling her amazing pastries obliquely opposite. We were not disappointed. We were served by a young man from Philippines, who was extraordinarily attentive, service oriented and told me about the history of the building and the woman who owned it. I ordered the special and my boyfriend had a pizza with pistachio cream and salmon. Both were amazing. The food is excellent, the service is wonderful, and I highly recommend both the food here and the pastry shop across the street for extras to take away!!
