OVER RATED , undoubtedly because it's cafe prices ..the serving staff are pretty hopeless, and asking them for attention ..well, 'sorry to have inconvenienced you .'The staff rush up and down barely looking at customers .. this places trades on its lovely location, certainly the staff are un trained and for me, probably one of the worst sets of staff on the island.Food average..try the Club House next door, the best burgers in town and terrific staff .

Order 3 meals one was a starter position and came up as a main course the ordered 2 pizzas we had a starter then we eat one piece of each pizza and wanted to take the rest away when we asked where our pizza was he said in the trash what is the meaning of can we take it away ? We couldnât believe the way we were treated no apologies just that the waiter just couldnât be bother to listen to what we wanted. Unbelievable my husband is Maltese and we have never been treated like this before and they wanted the bill to be paid in full. Never go back again.

Excellent first dish with lovely baked bread.My only criticism is the food was too much and we ended up leaving the salad behind.There were chips and roast potatoes coupled with salad and vegetables including cauliflower.Tuna was way too much.Wine was good. We chose a good Sicilian White

Bukkett was very good some years ago, this means food AND service. These days service is very chaotic, Bukkett needs a maitre d'hotel , or a person who organizes . Waithers come to the tables with one plate , loose too much time, kitchen cannot follow. e.g. you get you patato's when you have finische your fish.

Took some guests there for an evening meal and couldn't fault it. Service friendly and caring but not in your face. Lobster and crab soup......delicious. Main course monkfish tempura.....delicate and light yet filling......and the piece de resistance was the Tarte Tatin. Not the one you see all over France that is the little flat pastry with the delicate slices neatly arranged (not saying this is bad as it has its place in culinary history) but Chef Paul's is the best I have eaten in 50 years (and I have had similar offerings in Manoir Quatre Saisons and The Waterside in Bray (Roux) but Chef Paul's take the honours. I could have eaten another 3 easily but that's just being a glutton. Oh it does take about 20 mins to bake from scratch as they are made to order.So I suggest that if you do visit 'BOOK' and and start backwards from the dessert Menu so you know you can leave enough room for Chef Paul's Tarte Tatin.

Beautifully decorated restaurant, from the outside looks tiny but opens up like Pandoras box and seems to go on forever,delicious food, great service, good prices - a true example of superb food sourced locally serving some of the best wines from the Ta Mena estate, a really exceptional eating experience - not to be missed.

The staff was very nice and funny. The waiter explained the available dishes in detail. The service was like in a sophisticated restaurant. The truffle ravioli, a dish of the day, tasted really awesome! The restaurant is near the Gozo harbour with a nice view - but only from inside.

Went here the other evening based on the reviews... well Iâm not sure how it has such a high rating here other than the location. We were there at least two hours and we only had a main course! Service seems very disjointed and the food was very very bland. We had to ask for our bill after being left sat there for ages despite making it known we wanted to pay. Poor food and poor service.Dear Sir / Madam Thanks for the rating as well the review that we had left us. Sorry we did not meet your expectations., We try our best to meet everyone expectations, but sometimes, it seems that is impossible to do so . We were a group of 9 who hadnât booked a table but the staff could not have been more helpful, providing a table after a short wait while we went for a drink. The food and wine were superb and the staff friendly.
