Visited when staying with friends and we called in here 3 months after the hurricane. There was still an atmosphere of making a big effort to keep going and produce bread for the community, everyone in Anguilla was staying strong and pitching in bravely.
They sell a great range of jonny cakes, patties and other treats.
A visit here is a must to try local foods. Most loved the coconut cakes.

Absolutely mind blowing BBQ food. We sat at the wooden table and ate and ate and ate. Kept getting up for more. We actually took some away back to our hotel and I would say it tasted even better because it had time to sit in its own juices. Get there before the school kids come out as the Q was 4 deep! Please note that it is not only Pork that is served there is chicken as well. Ken's BBQ.

Extensive use of Anguilla's seafood and organic produce.Personal service from the owners.Special wine list, personally imported from France's top vineyards.Adjoining Art Gallery open restaurant hours. Open for lunch and dinner
Quaint little locale in Island Harbour with about seven or eight tables only, so make Reservations. Closed sun and Monday’s. This place was a culinary delight. My wife chose the oak and cigar smoked duck appetizer. We raved over the satisfaction this dish delivers. I had the sashimi app - tuna/salmon/conch/scallop - which was equally pleasing on the palate. Entrees of Caribbean fish soup and Sliced duck breast were the perfect segways to complete this finely orchestrated symphony of flavors. We paired each dish with a glass of red and white to complement the chef’s outstanding work in his kitchen. The alfresco ambience here is unlike anything else on the island, unique in and of itself. Well attentive staff of two this evening was spot on perfection in service. Can’t wait to return !

We dined at Veya the other night, despite previous visits being disappointing. This trip's visit was incredible and met my expectations. I had the surf and turf, my wife the butter poached lobster, and our friends the duck and snapper. All our meals were delicious. My steak melted in my mouth and the lobster was cooked to perfection. My wife broke down and had the chocolate cake for dessert, which she loved. Even the service was better and much friendlier. I have always found it to be a little too snooty but not this time.
The one negative I have to say and I am only hoping the manager reads it and rethinks ... We ordered a few extra things I wouldn't normally because I expected to get a discount with our Anguilla card. Other places we have gone and used the card take the 10% off the price on our bill and then we split the cost by putting in two credit cards 50-50. Has not been an issue. I actually mentioned this to our waiter and he said no problem. When the bill came I was informed to use the Anguilla card, I would have to show photo id (a little over the top since my face is on the card) and we couldn't use two credit cards to split the cost. I didn't understand why and still don't when I discussed it at another restaurant. They like me, were shaking our heads.
But despite that one flaw we had an excellent dinner and I have changed my opinion of this place.

While not gourmet, the food here is good home cooking with delicious, fresh ingredients, prepared cafe style. I had breakfast here daily and while the eggs were very fresh and the sausages delicious, the omelettes -- generously stuffed with veggies and cheese -- are very large and quite yummy. I was pleasantly surprised to get a delicious, yeasty bagel as well. Also try their homemade chicken salad with fresh tropical fruit....truly special.

We had the nachos, which were huge and very tasty. Can watch US sports on the TVs too, which was a bonus!

What an excellent meal. We stopped in for dinner and we were pleased with the food. We both had the special of the day which was pan seared snapper with a lemongrass sauce on it. Also served with it were mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. The fish was moist and the sauce was light and flavorful. The potatoes and other vegetables were hot and very good. They serve Johnny cakes before the meal and they are a local item that is very good. The service was good and we will be back.

Sandbar is located on the beach in Sandy Ground, one of the most charming fishing villages in the Caribbean and the "sea and sand" theme of the bar envelopes you as you enter. Lots of natural light, unobstructed views of Road Bay with its myriad boats at anchor - coupled with an abundance of trade breezes make this a cool and comfortable spot to enjoy drinks, & dinner. Dining and Seating is available inside and also outside on a Terrace perfect for watching the day & sun go down. Serving tasty tapas & cool cocktails Monday to Saturday.
We love everything about Sandbar. The owners and staff are always so gracious and welcoming. But the food is what keeps us coming back. That and a very reasonable priced wine list which is much appreciated! Everything is good, which is what I love about this place. Order anything and you will love it.

I am very fortunate to have visited this exquisite restaurant many times. The location, looking over Road Bay, is wonderful and the food is simply sumptuous. It rivals all of the food that I have eaten all over Italy, New York and Philadelphia (including Vetri). The service is not rushed and it shouldn't be. This is a place where you enjoy the ambiance, cocktails, conversation, views, wine, food, and just relax and take your time. It’s truly an experience. Since my last visit Irma came through but they are opening in the next few days. Go and enjoy. You will not be disappointed. Also, their wine list is one of the best on the island.

This place was about a 10 minute walk from our Villa Hibernia. Very nice selection of French pastries although they were out of quite of a few items when I stopped by to get a treat. Had a big selection of lunch options as well. They have a nice outdoor patio that is well shaded for a great place for lunch.
