We had a couple of meals here and stopped in for a beer a few times. View is amazing, juts out over the water. Owner drops everything to accommodate you even during off hours. This is relatively new and the service is really good. Definitely worth a visit.

Quant café on the Island of Taboga which is located near the mouth of the Panama Canal on the Pacific side. The cafe is located on the only (narrow) street which is golf cart wide size-only small cars & golf carts on the island. Open air, good food,, good prices, “do drop in” for a meal if you are on Taboga, if you are in Panama don’t miss a visit to Taboga about a 35 minute boat ride from Amador, Panama. The cafe is a short "hike" up the hill from the boat landing.

The restaurant is located on the beach with an open deck. They serve lunch and cocktails on weekends only during the low season. They are open everyday during the high season. The menu is limited but includes an excellent fried red snapper and the shrimp in garlic sauce is fantastic. The food and the prices are the best on the island.

A nice lunch for my wife and I. Enjoyable conversation with the owner. The are not too many decent choices on the Island, but this is a good one to try. If you walk the streets on the Island, you'll see what I mean. Beer's cold and they give you ice foe the soda. Keep it simple with the order. I don't know how fancy an order I would place. Try this place.....
