We had a very enjoyable lunch here and it is something you should not miss out on when coming to Kanazawa. I highly recommend ordering the Shrimp Omelette. The staff were extremely welcoming to tourists and appreciated our efforts in trying to speak Japanese.

Ate here twice (dinner and breakfast) as part of the meals included in a tour. There are multiple stations for cold salads, rice, miso, congee, pasta, other entrees, vegetables, Japanese items, juices, pastries, breads and desserts. There is a carving station with freshly cut beef at night and ham in the morning, as well as chicken. At night, there was a push cart on which they freshly prepared sautéed fish; this was excellent, but only available for limited time periods twice when the pushcart was deployed.

Our best food and restaurant experience in Japan. You need to know this place otherwise you will never step inside. Cozy, small wooden interior. You look straight in the kitchen where the female cheerful owner is cooking and her kind nephew is serving. They hardly speak English but just serve you nice dishes for a reasonable price (we had 4 courses, 2 beer and 2 sake and paid around 75,00). A fantastic evening and a truly Japanese experience…..
