Serving as the main port town for the island of the same name, the town of Ischia has been inhabited for centuries, famous for its beaches and the healing waters of its spas. The town is divided in two: Ischia Porto is the harbor district and commercial center of the island, filled with brightly lit taverns and bars, and Ischia Ponte, the historic quarter, with its ancient castle and its stone streets seemingly frozen in time.

We felt as if we had attended a "Culinary Theatre"- entertained by a masterpiece production. During our dining experience, we were captivated by the skillful preparation /presentation of the plates combined with amazing imagination, the thrill of the ongoing anticipation of "what's next" and the accompanying array of positive emotion.
A Food Lover's opportunity to savour what food can be, at it's finest.

Beautiful place, abysmal service and very average food at high prices.
I've been here numerous times and always hope it will get better. This visit was my worst yet for food & service.
They were busy it was a Saturday night however there seemed to be no one running the place and no structure or systems. Some of the waiters were to be blunt down right rude and others very apologetic.
I would say definitely go for a drink inside the Gardens however spend your money elsewhere on food.

This is a great restaurants right by the port next to all the huge yachts that park at night. Great atmosphere and service. The guy that greets you is so nice and makes you feel welcomed there. The food is excellent. We had fresh grilled orata fish and bruschetta for appetizer. Great meal. Would go back again.

Nice waterfront bar overlooking the main ferry port on Ischia. Loads of smart boats and impressive yachts moored but all very laid back. The bar was a great pace to spend time, chilling and relaxing and watching the world go by. Nice service, happy staff, not crazy prices.

We are open everyday... lunch & dinner.
What a location.
Not only a beach resort but a great restaurant. The views are fantastic out to the Mainland. Watching the moon rising during our meal was something special.
A good menu with many great dishes on offer. Carmine, the owner, was very helpful and friendly. Excellent command of English having lived in Australia and visited the UK. He even went to get more liquor nazionale, especially for us, having just run out. Now that is service!
Well worth a visit.

Always open for LUNCH and DINNER. There is a small sand bay peeking the Aragonese Castle, where time passes slowly and enjoyable. You can pamper yourself at the beach or choose the lawn, swimming among the rocks of Sant'Anna and explore the beautiful seabed. You can relax amidst the scents of the garden and enjoy delicious Mediterranean cuisine of our chef, in the evening, for an intimate dinner and enveloping. The Gardenia Mare every moment of the day is pure pleasure.
At this restaurant we had the best seafood ever. The people were very kind and helpful and service was very efficient. We got there on a Sunday without booking which shouldn't have done as the place was quite busy. The gentleman in charge was realy helpful as he arraigned a table for us in a minute. We got there by boat from near the Aragonese Castle using Angelo Cassano Barche which was super helpfull.

Went today, Sunday, so pretty busy with families, but the service was faultless and very friendly. In fact, the family contingents enhanced the atmosphere!
The choice of dishes for the size of the kitchen is extraordinary and this in no way impacts on the quality.
In this simple restaurant they take their food very seriously!
