Woven with wild greenery and Gaelic legends, the Emerald Isle is one of Europe’s most prized jewels. Rugged Atlantic beaches and mystery-shrouded sites rub shoulders with the cosmopolitan cities of Belfast and Dublin, where literary history and warm Irish hospitality are always in abundance.

Mary is the perfect host at Glen Carrig. She greeted us (two grizzled bikers) with warmth and enthusiasm. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and warm. There are plenty of facilities, such as a games room, although we didn’t use it. Her porter cake which she gave us for our travels the next day was delicious, as is her famed sticky toffee pudding. We had a super breakfast in convivial company with a Polish lady and her cousin. Mary’s baking is legendary and it’s a place I’d love to come back to. parking is super-safe there. It’s a bit too far to walk into Carigaholt, so take a car or bike to the Long Dock for dinner. Great stay in a a very friendly place with lovely views of the Shannon (and the best baking in Ireland). Did I mention the baking?

We did not find the place straight away, and the lady was very kind to guide us over the phone to her house. (After the Waterfront Hotel from the village, to the left, where the yellow and red wall is). The house is very nice, and the room was absolutely lovely, with sea view, very well decorated and very clean. We had a lovely chat with the lady about Slieve League in the morning after breakfast (very generous breakfast) and her 2 cats are adorable. We would happily stay there on our next visit! Thank you so much!

Maeve & Gerry run a superb B & B, set in a convenient location. Spotlessly clean, wonderful hosts and a great breakfast to start the day. We stayed 3 nights and found this a perfect base for touring around the region. We would highly recommend Doonard Manor to all travellers.

From the beautiful morning sunrise to the amazing views from the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin is a very special place. The Wild Atlantic Breeze Guesthouse made my family and I feel at home in a quite, beautiful location with amazing views and peacefulness for miles. It was truly a perfect vacation. The rooms were clean, and the owners were some of the nicest people I've ever met. Absolutely will be staying here again.

At the top of the hill with that beautiful view of the channel. A nice walk by a creek down to the town center for shopping and restaurants. Hosts are quiet, gentle people. It was a great stay on our bicycling tour. Nice hot English breakfast in the morning.

Five Star Luxury Thatched Seaside Holiday Cottages on Ireland's East Coast. Private, gated, hamlet-like setting directly on 6 miles of sandy beach with. Explore the mysterious and ancient beauty of the Boyne Valley with easy access to Dublin City. Dublin Airport is just 25 minutes away.
After a three-year delay due to the pandemic, we finally arrived at The Cottages. They exceeded our expectations with cozy accommodations in updated 300 yr-old cottages, beautiful gardens, and views, and an easy walk to the Irish Sea where I found "Wishing Stones" for our three grandkids. The Cottages are nestled between Bettystown and Laytown which has easy access to public transportation (buses) and trains (Belfast & Dublin). Since we did not have a car, this was a plus! Liz & Roger Pickett, owners of the Cottages, and their staff create a warm, inviting environment. We hated to leave!

Run House & Cottages are nestled in the village of Terryglass, a short stroll from the banks of Lough Derg, where the River Shannon meets the mountains of Tipperary. There is a country house and three cottages in one and a half acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, right in the centre of the village. The self-catering accommodation is a location where small or large groups can gather to celebrate an occasion or hold an event. The cottages can accommodate four guests each while the two apartments can accommodate up to six guests. The main house incorporates the two apartments and can be configured to accommodate up to 18 guests. The main kitchen will suit all culinary needs and all guests can dine together in the Orangerie. There are three further reception rooms, the library has a large smart TV to occupy little ones and older ones too, particularly during the rugby season or on a chilly evening. Log burning stoves add a cosy glow adding to the ‘home from home’ atmosphere. Quality
There are few occasions when I am stuck for words but it is extremely difficult to find the words to describe Riverrun cottages.. wow, wow, wow!!!!!!!!! From the moment I contacted Geraldine to book a hen party group in until the moment we left today we were treated to over and above 5 star luxury, in all aspects! The smallest of details were thought of, everything we possibly could have wanted was available in the houses. The food.... OMG!!!!!!!!! We had supper freshly prepared on our arrival, continental breakfast the 1st morning, Afternoon tea with prosecco that day and a full Irish breakfast on the 2nd morning. The relaxed vibe of Geraldine, Cara and the girls who are absolutely dedicated to the guests spilled over into creating a relaxed weekend for everyone...if you are thinking about staying in the Riverrun, do not give it a 2nd thought; go for it; you wont be sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Atlantic View Cottages are a family owned and run self catering Holiday Homes in Doolin. Comfort, cleanliness and 'hi spec' furnishing and equipment provide the home-from-home feeling that is so important for a really successful holiday. The cottages have panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean and the Aran Islands and are just one kilometre from the beautiful village of Doolin.
We stayed at the Atlantic View Cottages in unit 7, we were 4 adults and a 7 year old. It was very comfortable and has most amenities required and well stocked. I think the only thing we missed was oven gloves.

My family and I have been staying at the Courtyard Cottages almost every year since 2009 and over the years it has become more like our second home. What's not to like about the CC? The warm welcome from Myra, the comfort of the Cottages, beautifully decorated in shades of soft grey. A proper working kitchen, freshly laundered crisp cotton sheets and large fluffy towels. As Coeliacs we were delighted with the gorgeous loaf of gluten free brown bread awaiting us as part of the welcome package. It is this attention to detail on Myra's part that makes you feel so at home. My daughter and I took a mini break at the weekend, despite orange warnings and a howling gale, with heavy rain on Saturday night, we never heard any of it, snug and securely cosy in our lovely cottage. The only downside was having to leave on Monday morning. We are heading back for a week in May and looking forward toward to it immensely. When you find somewhere like the Courtyard Cottages, you don't pass by. You keep coming back!
