Reviews on South American food in Porto de Galinhas, Ipojuca, State of Pernambuco. An hour or two south of Recife, Porto de Galinhas was made for the not-so-extreme tourist. Raves one traveler, "It's what it doesn't have that makes it great:" no heavy traffic, no nightlife to speak of. Explore the natural tidal pools that form in the reef, feeding fish that swim all around you; or ride a dune buggy to romantic Muro Alto beach. Or skip all that and doze in a hammock by the warm, green, clear Atlantic.

Good service, nice place to people watch, and delicious food. English menu available. Highly recommend the Brazilian chicken - a BBQ'd chicken breast, skin on, nicely seasoned. Comes with beans and rice. Portions serve 2 and they are reasonably priced. Good caipirinhas.Would return.

Beijupira had ok food and the service was very slow. The food was presented well but was just ok. Drinks were awesome. They had a huge menu of Caipirinhas that are all very good! Good location in the center of Porto de Galinhas. Do not need to make a reservation, the place was empty on a friday night around 9 p.m.

This is a typical Brazilian food restaurant !! Which is located on the boardwalk in Porto de Galinhas..
This place was recommended by a local. It has 22 seats inside air conditioned room and 4 outside seats. The menu is in Portuguese and English. Menu has a selection of Brazilian dishes and fruit juices from the region as well as typical drinks, water, soft drinks etc. Our table was cleaned with alcohol and utensils were brought individually in new clean bags. The vegetarian salad was perfect and enough for two or three persons. The shrimp dish "Moqueca" was very delicious. The chicken dish "Frango grelhado" had two thin perfectly cooked chicken breasts with rice, beans and farofa. If you haven't had any of the regional fruit juices, try "graviola".

We don't know any restaurants in the area, so we asked the taxi guy for a restaurant and this is the one that he recommended. We ordered 3 foods and they all tasted good. But the price was a little too high for the area. Each main dish was around $65 real.

I went with my wife and we loved it, the French technique of melting the whole meal is fantastic. The restaurant is small, very nice for a romantic dinner. I recommend also try the desert, it's the first restaurant in Brazil where we found nice desserts.

Great option in Porto de Galinhas. We tried the grilled fish with chopped nuts. Delicious! We also tried the local beer they offer and it was very good. To finish, we were invited to make life sweeter with one of the desserts and we picked the ice cream Tower with hot chocolate. Excellent service and food for a great price. Definitely recommended!

Where to eat Seafood food in Porto de Galinhas: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Argentine, Brazilian and Italian food, own elaboration. cozy atmosphere.
Local onde a praia é maravilhosa.
