Sioux City (/ˌsuːˈsɪti/) is a city in Woodbury and Plymouth counties in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Iowa. The population was 82,684 in the 2010 census, which makes it the fourth largest city in Iowa. The bulk of the city is in Woodbury County, of which it is the county seat, though a small portion is in Plymouth County. Sioux City is located at the navigational head of the Missouri River. Often the city and surrounding area is referred to as Siouxland, especially by the local media and residents. The city is home to several cultural points of interest including the Sioux City Public Museum, Sioux City Art Center and Sergeant Floyd Monument, which is a National Historical Landmark. The city is also home to Chris Larsen Park, commonly referred to as “the Riverfront,” includes the Anderson Dance Pavilion, Sergeant Floyd Riverboat Museum and Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center. Sioux City is the primary city of the five-county Sioux City, IA–NE–SD Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), with a population of 168,825 in 2010 and a slight increase to an estimated 168,921 in 2012. The Sioux City–Vermillion, IA–NE–SD Combined Statistical Area had a population of 182,675 as of 2010 and has grown to an estimated population of 183,052 as of 2012.

This little restaurant is wonderful! You walk up to the counter to order your food, then find a seat. They bring it out to you. I've also done take-out. The food is hot and freshly made. The portions are decent size. The prices are very reasonable. It has the feel of a little neighborhood restaurant. We are not talking haute cuisine, just good, freshly made food, fast service and reasonable prices. It's a regular stop for me.

I recently went to the King Sea & utilized their walk -up service window for some hot & spicy soup & a couple of egg rolls. I had very friendly service & would definitely return. They now only offer walk-up or delivery service from this location, but it is still the same food I enjoyed in their former downtown location.

Fairly new restaurant but it's good, the soups are very tasty. Very fast service and decent prices. So far I've tried a couple dishes and both have been very good. I would definitely recommend trying the place out and if you have a hard time deciding, try the pho' dishes.

Enjoyed a nice dinner for four adults and 2 toddlers and a baby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We split three entrees plus some appetizers. The appetizers were especially good. Recommend the egg rolls and dumplings Prices were reasonable

Stopped in for lunch. We noticed that the buffet was really heavy in chicken dishes unlike previous times. Very little beef or pork dishes and fewer seafood than usual. It was almost noon and some serving tools still weren't out. I'm on water meds and my server was fantastic. I got quick refills on my water. I've never had some great service as this gentleman was great. Great dessert selection if you are interested.

My friend Andy and his family own this place. It is the best Chinese in town. My friend Calvinâs family owns Hunan Palace which is decent, but not quite as good. My friend Wendyâs family owns Mister Stir-fry which is also pretty good. But Golden Bowl is the best because it is a very good deal and yummy!

Took ages for us to place an order and after that, quite a while to get our food. I ordered a seafood pho which isnât really what the soup is for (maybe that was my fault as this soup is more known for chicken and beef varieties). It was fairly flavorless despite my doctoring it up. Still, pretty impressive a place like Sioux City has a Vietnamese noodle place!
