It's a gas station that makes food. I certainly wouldn't rate it above average and I'm not even sure it should be in the restaurant category. They make pizzas to go and fried food and sub sandwiches.
Service was good. Folks were pleasant. Food was average. Had no real taste. No flavor but was prepared and presented OK. Nothing bad but nothing exceptional. Probably wouldn't bother going back.

Paid extra money for white meat chicken to go. Got home and had dark meat. Drove to get correct order. No one said they were sorry we had to drive back or that the order was wrong. Got back home with the correct order and 2 of the 4 pieces of chicken were very small. Waited a long time for both trips at the Pizza Ranch.

We ordered online for delivery to our room. Service was quick and they even brought forks without having to ask for them! The food was excellent, It has been years since I have eaten Domino's Pizza, since we were traveling with our son he wanted pizza. We were told Domino's was the best for delivery. So we tried it, now I want to eat there more often. Hat's off to Domino's Pizza Ottumwa, IA
Where to eat Asian food in Ottumwa: The Best Restaurants and Bars
This dinner stop was a blast from my childhood past as we ate Happy Joes frequently in the 80's in Cedar Rapids, IA. The taco pizza was every bit as good as I remembered. I wish the kids would have been with us as they would have enjoyed the game room.
My husband and I had our first visit to Mikeâs at the recommendation of relatives. Our waitress (Kaylin?) took our drink and meal orders and promptly vanished from the planet. An expeditor brought out our chicken fettuccine and lasagna and asked if we needed anything. No one checked to see if our food was satisfactory (it was) or if we needed refills. Just as we were getting up to go to the cash register to see if we could wrangle up our check, our waitress appeared and said, âIt just got busy all at once!â That happens at supper time in restaurants (insert eye roll here). It takes 5 seconds to stop by, ask a quick âquestion and be on your way. Overall rating would have been a 4 versus a 4 if the basic service issues hadnât existed.
