Other reviews sent me here and I am grateful. This is an authentic Sichuan kitchen. The cold Sichuan style noodles were spicy and just the right texture. The poached beef in spicy Sichuan sauce was fabulous. Plenty of beef, lots of vegetables and both spicy and redolent of Sichuan peppercorns. This is a terrific place with friendly and efficient service.

I visited this past weekend for lunch. It was my first visit. It was not busy. They have quite a few tables in the dining area. It looks like they have a set up at the front counter for a buffet offering. I had the lunch special of Kung Pao Chicken. I had the Lo Mein instead of rice. A short time later my plate of food arrived. It was a very generous serving of food. The Kung Pao Chicken was good and I loved the Lo Mein. The lunch meal also comes with a drink. I ended up taking home about half of my meal. It is a very fair price for what you get. The front dining area was very clean, as was the bathroom. I will absolutely visit again.

This restaurant is a favorite of locals and UI international students for the authentic and delicious Chinese food. The staff is always friendly and greets regulars with a warm smile. This is the real deal where the specials board is written in Chinese characters instead of English! However, the dining room is simple, so this is not the place to go for a fine dining experience, just great food. Their take out offers generous portions, and quick service.
