It is part of the Des Moines–West Des Moines Metropolitan Statistical Area. Clive is known for its Greenbelt Park and trail system running through the entire community. Clive serves as the axis of the western Des Moines suburbs, being located between Urbandale, Waukee and West Des Moines along the major transportation corridors of I-35, I-80 and I-235. The City of Urbandale is to the north to northwest, the City of West Des Moines is to the southeast to southwest, the City of Waukee in Dallas County is to the west.

I haven't been to this restaurant since they moved to 121st Street. Boss took us out for lunch, for the holidays. It was really, really good! I never go out for Italian. Why? The bread was great, the salad was great (add'l charge), the house dressing was delicious. I ordered the chicken spedini, which was done to perfection. It's "skewered, lightly Breaded and Broiled, with Grilled Asparagus & Linguini Alfredo." It was a wonderful meal. It's more than I care to spend for a meal, but I wasn't paying--- this time.

Came here a while back but line massively long so left. Returned today for Saturday lunch and was very impressed. Staff super friendly. They have specialty pies or build your own - extra ingredients no cost. Crust was very good, thin and crispy. Ingredients all fresh and delicious. They will also do half and half pies. A build your own is only $7 which is a great value. Came here not knowing what to expect - beer and wine was an added bonus. It is basically a "fast food" pizza place and we loved it. We will be back!

I love Sarpinos! I order so much that the employees that answer and take my order and I are on a first name basis haha. It's just great food! All fresh ingredients, free delivery, open every single day and late as well!! Very friendly staff! The Italian fries are awesome! And the cheesecake is amazing as well!! Ate here this past Saturday. The onion rings were delicious! We tried the Chili Sting Pizza (at least I think that is what it was called.) Can you say WONDERFUL!!! Wow. We will be back to try it out again! Service was top notch. Manager on duty was great. Thank you!

Went here on Thursday night ordered a custom 10" pizza and house salad with Creamy Italian dressing and everything arrived perfect to the table and quickly and delicious as always, this was the first time at this location and I liked it! The staff was friendly and made sure we were taking care of and the place was very clean and when the whether is cooler they have outdoor seating.

The Other Place is a friendly sports bar motif with a sufficient selection of domestic beers and a few popular micro brews from around the country. If you like beer, they'll have something you will like. The appetizer sampler plate is generously large and tasty: it's fresh and not overly greasy and oppressive like many deep fried entrees can be. The main room is large and can be noisy and there are several large screens around the room for you to watch your favorite sport. It's easily accessible from I-80 near lots of hotels. It's a good place to wind down, with a meal and drink, after a day of traveling.

Our first visit here. The helpful service was above and beyond. It started with a very helpful description of the menu, a special deal they were offering. Buy two dinner items and get a third free, so two pizzas got a large salad.The thin crust pizza was excellent with fresh mozz and great toppings. The caesar salad was all fresh green lettuce, shaved parmesan, croutons, and dressing on the side. Their gelato looked great and found it tasted great too after they gave us each a free small cup of it.I hope to visit again to try more menu items.
