Fleming's West Des Moines, IA is an ongoing celebration of exceptional steak and wine. We are located in Jordan Creek at the town center, near Clive and Waukee, off I-80 and I-35.
This is a restaurant that does not take much to drop a couple of hundred dollars for supper. You get one of the BEST wine selections in the Des Moines area! Fantastic service! Fantastic food! But of course you will pay for it! Everything is all carte. If you need to impress, this is the place!

Dropped by with my wife after a recommendation from the hotel. What a great decision. My wifeâs burger may be the best Iâve ever tasted. The pork tenderloin I had was amazing. The kettle-chips and house made dip were also great. Bailey was very helpful. Put this place on your Des Moines list.
First time for any Marcoâs Pizza, saw it while driving on University and thought weâd give it a try. Ordered delivery, which was prompt. The pizza was just âokayâ. In the end I thought it was close in taste/quality to Little Caesarâs. Like I said itâs just âokayâ. The cheese bread was actually very good, just wish the pizza was as good.

My kids love Pizza Ranch but the one in Waukee needs a lot of work. My kids love the breadsticks but we can wait 30 min before they have any available. We typically drive 20 min to go to another Pizza Ranch.Kari,I am so sorry about this and thank you for your feedback, so we can strive to become better. We just brought a new GM into the waukee restaurant and we are looking forward to some changes in the very near future and I will pass along your feedback. Thanks for giving us another opportunity and we will strive to do better in the future.

Visited this location last week for dinner. Sat at the bar where they have an excellent selection of local and other tap beers while we waited for a table to eat. The staff from the hostess, bartenders and wait staff were all friendly and attentive. This followed up with some very tasty food. Lots of selections that all looked great.

Welcome to John & Nick's Steak & Prime Rib, Inc. We opened a restaurant on the Northeast side of Des Moines. For over 30 years, we are well known in the area for exceptional steaks and prime rib. Our hand cut steaks are aged a full 21 days for maximum tas
Friends invited us out to eat at this restaurant for my friends birthday. We had never eaten there before. Our friends ordered prime rib, I husband ordered a shrimp dish, and I ordered the Steak De Burgo. I was not just thrilled with de Burgo sauce. The steak was tender, but the sauce had a fishy taste. District 36 and Ankenyâs is much better. The salad bar was on par with that of this restaurants sister restaurant Chicago Speakeasy. This restaurant is more pricey than itâs sister restaurant.

There is nothing extraordinary about this property except, possibly, the slipperiness of the inside floors. They were kind of scary, actually. Our server was great, and attentive, but the food was mediocre. My omelet was dry, a burger was overcooked, etc. Probably won't return.

Unfortunately, this place is going downhill. We live close by and have been here at least 10 times over the past year. There is definitely a noise issue, everything echoes and itâs very hard to hear or talk in there. Also, the seating area is strange where itâs either extremely tall high tops or very low to the ground seating. The dining room is separated by a wall with more odd seating on the other side by the bathrooms. We continued to go due to the service and food. However, the last 3 times we have been here, both have been horrible. And our most recent visit, we had to wait forever to be at knowledged at the table. We were seated right away, but after that we waited a very long time for waters, menus, ordering. It was not that busy and we waited almost 15 minutes for a drink. The food came and the chicken was way overcooked & my husbandâs chicken sandwich was also overcooked. We eventually had to go up to the bar and ask for our check. We had been sitting an awful long time with no one clearing our plates, checking on our meal or asking if we wanted anything else. It was annoying because there were three or four employees constantly chatting by the bar. There was a high school age girl in the kitchen with really long hair that was not in a net. To make matters worse, she kept touching her hat with her gloves & then touching food.

Visited Rube's for the first time tonight. What a fun and interactive establishment. Grab a drink at the bar, pick your choice of protein frim the beautiful counter, cop a squat at one of the many tables, throw your protein on the grill, and chat it up with friends around the aromas of grill and drinks. We will be back with more friends! Thank you for a great experience.
